Don't say something is overpowered. Explain why it's overpowered.
Don't immediately judge something after one experience with it. Wait awhile and see if it grows on you.
Don't complain about people complaining. That literally accomplishes nothing and adds nothing to conversation.
See what the community is saying and be civil. If someone disagrees with you, ask them to elaborate. You might see a different perspective and change your opinion or sharpen theirs.
We want Destiny 2 to be better than D1. Let's not make the same mistakes.
Peace.
Edit: Just one small addition. As much as I'd like to say this is my post, it's really all of ours. We want Bungie to trust that we know what is best for this game and see that we truly know its ins and outs. It's obvious we care about it, hell, we downloaded the app.
Edit 2: Our post got noticed by Cozmo. Let's enter Destiny 2 with a clean slate and a handshake.

All these suggestions will be read glanced at or glossed over then ignored.

Yea we can't have Hamrick revving that nerf hammer too early, the man can't stop once he starts!

1 RespuestaI love it. I love the fact that they are taking the game in a more pve direction. That's why it was made. If you really wanna play a first person shooter go play COD. Don't get me wrong, I love pvp in destiny and I've been here along time, but what really got me hooked on this game I ask myself? It was pve, the fact that we got to fly through space traveling to different planets with our friends to kick some ass, all while having to run nightfalls 100 times trying to get certain guns. I am a true fan of this game, and if you are a true fan than you will understand where I'm coming from. I've been to the lighthouse over 100 times, over 130,000 crucible kills on my accounts. I DONT CARE, I WANNA FLY SOME BAD ASS SHIPS AND KILL DREGS AGAIN
-
Or play the beta, then cancel you're preorder if pvp is still using potato connection. I can't believe we are in this situation

1 RespuestaGood advice. I'll be looking at everything...game mechanics, maps, movement, menus, gear, etc. Unfortunately, there will be players who will be focused like a laser on.......weapons/abilities being OP. -- eyes rolling . You know it's inevitable.
-
I would just like to add to this good advice, that you should not get emotionally invested in Bungie's business decisions and gameplay tweaks. If something does change, don't take it personally and don't make it a personal argument between yourself and other players.
-
If it isn't scottish it crap!
-
One good thing to do. If you keep dying to the same gun over and over, try it out for yourself, and see if it is actually OP. Don't just run to the forums and say you died to a gun and it needs a nerf. That's what happened to the tanks in D1.
-
Warlocks floof too fast and too high. Plz nerf bungi
-
Very true. There is a big difference between constructive criticism and childish whining. The former is much more effective at effecting positive change. Unfortunately most video game forums see far more of the latter. Play the beta. Be open-minded but critical in your assessment of the game. Deliver that criticism to Bungie in as constructive a manner as possible. Hopefully through this process we can ensure that D2 is as close to the game that we, the players, want as possible, while still realizing that it will never be 100% what we want.
-
1 RespuestaThe beta is just to stress test multiplayer aspects. Assuming this is out likely in July, then it's really too late to implement too many changes.
-
1 RespuestaOr what?
-
Nerf Fusions.
-
Wouldn't be a toxic community if this is how things played out try to get it trending and spread the message.

Editado por SlyBlueCat: 6/5/2017 7:53:10 PMSomething is fishy.

5 RespuestasYou do realize, "betas" these days are essentially just demos.
-
3 Respuestasanyone notice dawnblade has drop to it I watched a vid where someone shot one at a slightly upwards direction and it went like 30 feet then dropped like a rock.
-
Basically be constructive without being whiny and unproductive is what you're saying?

Editado por GxHz Dragon88: 6/5/2017 5:56:28 PMMy biggest issue is how their new hybrid server system going to work, that should be our primary focus really as for everything else "if its not broken or etc don't fix it". I played games before when the beta was really good but when the main game finally came out it was crap due to stuff that wasn't broken was nerf and etc. They need to require a speed test to match make people in your own area of say internet speed. Some internet (red bars) should go with (red bars) and so forth.

What would be nice is if Bungie shared the data concerning the weapon/super in question. Your experience may differ from the compiled data but if they change something it would be helpful to have it fully explained along with the data used to get to that conclusion.
-
5 RespuestasSo you're trying to tell us you already pre-ordered?! Well done guardian!
-
2 RespuestasWon't matter what we say. They do all their balancing on what their "data" says. We are literally just along for the ride.
-
83 RespuestasMy problem with D2 is one they cant fix before launch and is apparent before the beta even releases. They made a weapon and class balancing system made specifically for pvp, and tried to see if that made for a good PvE experience. Sad thing is it doesnt. Our weapon slots got watered down, and worst of all the class system has a set pool of perks. Bungie tries toning down our customization for the sake of PvP balance.
-
4 RespuestasWhile I agree with this I am more worried about after the beta. D1 was great at the start but followed a path which did not improve the game in any way.
-
18 RespuestasIts already worse than D1, look at the weapon slots. Sniper rifles are heavies now! Give me a break.
-
I wasn't with the community from beginning to end, but I wouldn't like to see the game get progressively worse as time goes on again.
