So i gotta say, im really bummed out. from all the footage thus far, PVP will be slow and dull. I could go into everything in detail but why bother. Go watch for yourselves. It looks essentially like what would happen if they took D1 and nerfed abilities and movement into the ground, took away 6v6 (after adding awesome guided games like whaaaat) and made special weapons run on heavy crates...
I loved this game SO MUCH. But Sorry bungie, you lost my buy on this one. This doesn't look like any sort of improvement to what I'm currently playing.
EDIT: Dear Fanboys, I respect that you have your own opinion, and that you probably don't like mine. I dont care haha. Like really, It makes no difference to me if anyone cares or agrees or whatever. This was not meant to sway anyone else or blah blah blah. All I'm sayin, is it LOOKS bad. Ok? Ok.

4 RespuestasPvP looks bad? I can't wait to get to a damage phase in a raid and deal damage with two primary weapons... okay guys, use you kinetic pulse here and swap to a solar hand cannon, then spend the next 10 minutes reloading both weapons. LOL. Can't wait.

3 RespuestasThis is probably on target, regardless of whether or not folks like it. Bungie has already said D2 will be geared for more casual play. Anyone with any sense has to know D2 pvp WILL NOT be going against the tide of the past 2.5 yrs of evolution. No way in hell. Use your heads. It will be the next evolution in the same direction in order to reach Bungie's declared goal. The war is over.

6 RespuestasThe way I look at it if you havent been here since day one or have 3 characters max light and max grimoire or atleast close to it all of which I have you cant complain about the game.
-
8 RespuestasWho knows for sure, play the beta then judge. The vast majority of people who played at the reveal all had good things to say

11 RespuestasI would have to disagree...the current crucible seems way toooo fast, and you need to be s spazztastic Hunter with shade or titian with twilight. This is just how I see it, and I'm not the best at PvP, but I do think the meta could be slowed down. More of a boots on the ground approach...IDK but that's what I think...

16 RespuestasYou've seen 1 game type 1 map, a small number of weapons/armor used, and you've experienced none of it. You know what they say about not judging a book by its cover?

30 RespuestasDisagree. Destiny 1 (vanilla) was a combination of Titanfall and Overwatch. But many PVP players (many of them Halo grads) didn't like it...and many within Bungie didn't like it or the speed at which 6v6 played. So they spent three years nerfing everything in sight trying to slow down the game and make it play more like Halo. Nearly breaking the game in the process. Destiny 2 looks like the combination of Halo and Overwatch. While it is a slower game, it looks more like the game that Bungie originally wanted. Slower. More team-oriented. No more games dominated by people running around and spamming OHK weapons. So while I think it will definitely be a slower game than D1, I think it will also be a healthier game.

3 RespuestasI'm actually looking forward to it. I don't enjoy PvP right now since I usually just face teams of Icebreakers and sticky grenades. It'll be nice to have actual gun fights. If you don't like the speed, then you might need to look into playing another game for PvP. I hear Titanfall 2 is pretty fast paced. Not trying to be mean or anything.

Editado por Wet: 6/5/2017 1:46:22 PMYea 30 fps and a lack of dedicated servers mean it will be shit to play whether it's fun or not. Bungle completely failed Crucible players for Destiny 2.
Personally, I would probably enjoy the new style, but hackers and redbar warriors will ruin it.
10 RespuestasYou don't have too play crucible, plus we saw only one game mode.
-
Yes, yes it does.

Lets admit it Destiny has been slowly getting worse for awhile now and D2 is sticking to that path. After pulse rifle buff fiasco sandbox team has refused to make impactful buffs to weak weapons. So instead they blanket nerf everything to the ground. Now with D2 you see the ramping of this sandbox approach. Destiny couldn't balance weapons and abilities across diff map types or improve the constant issue of lag. So what did they do, make PvP game modes 4v4 only which reduces the complexity of creating multi purpose maps as well as effective weapon ranges. Plus with 33% less players in each game = less lag. Enough complaining though. End of the day, like many other blockbuster game franchises bungie is banking on that we will buy whatever they release regardless of the quality. Well I'm not buying in and I'm sure D2 will be fun but end of the day it'll be a massive waste of time and if Destiny doesn't care then I won't either.

Bump. Great edit.
-
2 RespuestasFair enough - don't see it as a big issue actually it's a positive for old gallp :)
-
I agree. Its like they said " well people like Trials... and Halo Lets just mash the 2 together" The only thing vanilla had was potential. The only thing D2 has is better graphics. Everything else is just less
-
1 RespuestaThis is what I've been saying for the longest time. People popping in and out of cover, running away constantly, weapons doing no damage... that's slow paced. Year 1 pvp was so much fun, even when it had certain exotics wrecking everything. And now it's some awkward, team based shooter? Who even asked for this? Oh wait...
-
1 RespuestaAgreed, including the edit.

2 RespuestasHere's a video to proper weapons https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

7 RespuestasWell, sorry you dislike the art style or the gun style or the pvp style. I like all of them and no. It looks good.
-
2 RespuestasThis is what all the whiny PvP-fanatics wanted. A slow, dull Halo clone, but worse.
-
1 RespuestaI hope you realize this was countdown. A mode specifically made to be tactical and methodical. Lmao there will still be other modes with different paces I'm sur r
-
Playing clash today it was only 4v4 at first felt so empty granted ttk in d2 will be longer, no more abilities spamming kills and only primary fights, will miss using special, but I can always come back to destiny to use my snipers and fusions
-
6 RespuestasAgreed. I thought the gameplay was boring to watch, especially after comparing it with d1 in year 1&2. Special Weapons allow for exciting plays and give people highlight moments that help make it memorable. Can't wait to watch the all the sick montages of auto rifle spray down kills in d2.
-
3 RespuestasThey're slowing the game down I HATE slow paced games they're not fun for me so I guess I'll be playing destiny 2 for pve and titanfall 2 for pvp
-
16 RespuestasWell you saw one intrinsically slow game mode. Players played passive due to A. It being a new game, and B. Limited revives for you and your teammates. When the beta comes out im sure everything will even itself out
