National Gun Violence Awareness Day
June 2nd is national gun violence awareness day.
Gun violence kills more than 90 Americans a day and injures hundreds more.
Do you know someone who has been killed by gun violence?

OT: my good friend committed suicide with a gun. It was very likely a spontaneous suicide, possibly involving alcohol.

The moment the words "gun" and "violence" appears together in a title.. the downvote brigade comes out in full force. It's completely possible to say that gun violence is a bad thing... and something we need to get under wraps.. without saying that guns need to be taken away from everyone. Shit.. you would think that gun enthusiasts would be the ones who want to see the violence stop the most. It's you who ends up getting associated with these assholes. Guns are awesome. One of the most badass things the average person can own. Shoot targets, shoot animals, shit.. shoot propane tanks and watch them go BOOM. Have fun, I don't care. But if we can also work towards a few less people getting shot... that would be pretty damn awesome too. It doesn't have to be all or nothing, guys.

Funny how people don't view a car as a weapon when improperly used. I have used guns safely and if you are not taught how to use a gun safely then be responsible and do that. Most gun owners are very responsible and safe. The stupid idea they are not is people like Hillary or the like. Punish people who do such atrocity's not responsible gun owners. Responsible gun owners might save your life. Check out this link and it was something that happened here locally. Kinda wakes you up a bit. So back to car crashes. Put down the phone and drive safe dumb ass.

5 RespuestasYeah gun safety is a big issue that more people need to take seriously. I hate hearing about gun accidents because most of them can be avoided by simple safety procedures. I would also urge everyone to go out and get a concealed carry and take a safety and gun training course. I have personally been saved by firearms and have known victims of gun violence and those saved from becoming victims by guns. Guns aren't just for people who hunt or sport shoot it is also valuable for protection most people have them, you might as well level the playing field
