Let's say you accept the premise that the Community is to blame for all nerfs... wouldn't it be beneficial to stop giving attention to ridiculous nerf posts?
I frequent the forums daily, and I can tell you that the majority of posts that trend almost instantly, are those from people complaining about something, and hundreds of people showing up to bash them... Yes, it may feel good for you to rail someone for an opposing opinion, especially one that you feel impacts your game negatively, but ultimately, all you are doing is giving them more attention and a larger platform.
Other stupid posts, that draw massive attention, are
"_________ gun doesn't need a nerf, here's why".
"_________ need to stop crying because ________".
The sad thing is, half of the posts calling for nerfs aren't even genuine... and some nerf posts are simply the result of the OP knowing that he will get a lot of hits on his post if he/she says something controversial. This community needs to wake the -blam!- up and take responsibility for its toxicity.
You have been warned.

1 RespuestaNot talking about it in the forums won't stop nerfs. Bungie can SEE the usage numbers, the raw data of how many people are using a given weapon, ability, or item. Remember Mida? In an interview with Planetdestiny one of the Dev It was "On their radar" long before any complaints about the gun were made. They noticed a strong uptick in it's use and then kept an eye on it. The only surefire way to get people to not get things nerfed, is to not overuse them in the first place. Us being quiet about it would at best just make them take slightly longer about enacting changes on it.

3 RespuestasEditado por sonicfind: 6/2/2017 1:23:59 AMIt's funny. When I give recommendations/suggestions for changes to certain mechanics or weapons, my titles are usually very calm and well represents the topic.... but those never gain any attention and thus no one cares. But then when I make the title more click-bait like, suddenly people start giving a crap and place opinions on what my suggestions. These forums are honestly just a disease for reasonable people and a cheesecake for douchebags.

2 RespuestasI don't think the nerf babies can be stopped by us. What needs to happen is bungie needs to use their data, and their data only, to balance the game, not community posts

1 RespuestaYou're pretty much asking people to not be angry on the internet Good luck with that.

3 RespuestasEditado por Dang lmao: 6/2/2017 2:36:14 AMIs it ironic that you made a thread complaining about snipers and how glad you are that we're "out of the sniper reigning era" or whatever it was that you said ? Idk, maybe that's just me. Just for some added clarity here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/227368978/0/0
