Hey guys morning from the uk. Total noob here, just quick one, excuse my ignorance. I'm titan light 396 I went to do my first raid last night the VOG and I was unable to do a run on hard. Why was that? Do I have to run on normal first? Just total disappointment after week of meticulous planning. Any advice input be greatly appreciated.

1 RespuestaYou should always be doing Normal first for any raid. Do this version until you have enough experience with the mechanics and then go to Hard. Doing Hard Mode first with no experience is just going to waste the time of those who actually took the time to learn.
-
Run normal first.
-
1 RespuestaSmacking the boss to death is probably the easiest way to beat any raid.

2 RespuestasYou posted this at about 5 in the morning.
go to sleep.
They apparently patched this You should be able to enter a hard mode raid now without completing normal but, if not, best change the fire team leader to someone that has completed normal. There was a problem of not being able to use a check point in heroic if you hadn't previously cleared normal even though you could have beater heroic numerous times. Like I say, apparently they fixed this...

Yes run normal a few times first to get used to the mechanics of the raid.
-
5 RespuestasYup. You have to beat it on Normal first I think. You can still do it, you just need to promote someone to leader who has done the raid so they can start the activity.

1 RespuestaYou should consider doing the normal version first as that will unlock the hard version for you. It will also be a lot easier to learn the mechanics of the raids as you'll be taking a lot less damage from the ads and bosses while at the same time doing more damage yourself. I was really shocked how quickly I was melted in 390 version of kings fall the first time doing the new hard mode.

Always best to do the step up system. Start low and as you get used to it go up from there. Now granted there aren't a whole lot of people who will take the time and patience to get you where you need to be but it's still doable with the right people.

1 RespuestaYou'd need to run normal or find someone who can pull you into the 390 version. Best run the normal. Get used to the mechanics and encounters. Find a group who's patient and will help. Those "just watch a YouTube video" groups won't wanna take the time to get actual experience. And if shit goes south that's where experience comes in. Most videos show you the mechanics on a perfect run, not how to adapt to fallen teammates, or how to save a dropped relic. They give you a base but experience will be your beat teacher.

2 RespuestasThis has got to be one of the best threads I have seen in a long time. An intelligent question, posted in a coherent manner, recieving intelligent, respectful replies. I am impressed.

Just join a group that has it unlocked and you're good.

Back in my day I would get drunk and take a whole group of newbies in. Those were to days. I quit 7 months ago. Now I got these 400 light 2500 grimoire weirdos running around :P

Join our clan. Profit.

You need to run it first on normal, probably for the best if it's your first time
-
Been a while since I've done it but I think you had to run normal first unless you were invited by someone, a team leader, to run it on hard. Always best to run normal first in any event.

You should always run normal first if you can.
