BUT, peer to peer their connection affects me. It doesnt screw with anyone elses connection to the server on a dedicated server.

Actually it does it causes the whole server to lag

Im basing my experience with dedicated servers off of other pvp games, and yes, there were times when i saw that. However, im playing trials right now, and i believe whole heartedly that when you start a game against a guy green bar, he starts losing then goes red bar and wind out, he is cheating. Servers offer a control point. Peer 2 peer does not. Jesus, if ever play trials you know this stuff. Pretty much at this point, if any defends it Im going to assume you are a cheater. Look, I played a game with a guy who was pheneomenal. We got matched against a guy who was even better. Dude i was with said he wasnt gonna lose. All the sudden green turns red and we beat a guy with a 2800 elo. Never should happen. Its broken and any improvement to ban cheaters should happen. Adding a control point to eliminate cheaters should always be pursued.

You run through a server either way without a dedicated server you run through a server that is used for not only PvP but pve matchmaking as well your p2p connections are based on the latency between the 2 data points which is only as slow as the weakest link so somewhere in there you guys hit a bad black box with a low yield server it happens dedicated server will have the same issue just with less occurrences not to mention the fact that they cost billions of dollars to build and set up for the specifications...most PvP game servers are rented from places like versions ground hub or run through federal data servers

The first sensible description of anything today. Gotta work on that puncuation though. But i respect what youre sayin. I still maintain that a single point of monitor is better than trying to track hundreds of thousands of players hosting not to mention all the possible points of intervention along the way. Think DDosS

Your right a dedicated server would be better but it won't fix the issues that are present in game currently, not to the extent everybody expects, and hacking is actually easier on a dedicated server
