"These are the drops you're looking for"
Here I was in the tower just playing with my gear. I recently got my Queens chest piece for my Titan, to complete the set, and I was playing with shaders and what not. When I get a party chat invite. Not a random invite with no description of what their planning to do. A party chat invite. Honestly the very best way to invite someone to play.
"hey" they said in a very young voice. "can you help us get Black Spindle? pleasssse!" Now this is probably where some would walk away. But it comes back to how they invited me. I really hadn't planned to do anything, so I simply said "sure, let's do it".
They loaded us up and off we went. Truthfully it took two tries. The second time we were hauling. I said to them "hey using a sword makes this go faster", but they were having trouble with the ap, so they went as is. "no worries, just trying to pay it forward", as I equip my Raze-Lighter. I'll say this, no favorable ammo drops in this run. It was stingy.
We make it to the final room. And they did alright, anytime they'd get a little panicky, just reminded them to relax and kill everything. We did a good job, because ammo drops were really stingy, taking turns DPSing and killing ads. I had one shot left in my Ex-Machina, no heavy, couldn't pop one had two min to go but we had one min remaining. Took my time, took my shot bam dead.
They both got the ship and the Spindle, it was epic. Were hooting and hollering. It was awesome. I got mine a long time ago. We went on to do a nightfall, easy peezy. Sometimes being the Shepard can be trying, but then there are times like these that remind you this is a fun game.
It's great to be there when someone gets the drop! Much like back in year one when someone got the Gjally, it was that level of excitement.

1 RespuestaI tried to get black spindle once. Me and my friends were doing well and the boss was low on health. I sent a sniper bullet crashing through the boss's skull and he shrieked in pain. We cheered and celebrated whilst we waited for our spindles. When all of a sudden variks's voice echos around the room "Dismantle mines yeeeeeees. Or; you die." Me: Wait WTF? An oracle pings off in the distance, a friend calls out saying "WTF I've been teleports to that thing in the Oryx boss fight. "Crota summons his over soul" Appears in the corner of my screen. Me and my team is screaming whilst trying to find the mine, Oracle and over soul. Me: WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? BOOM! Variks: You failed Guaaaardian..." You've succumbed to the oracle's appears. Crotas over soul goes off. Dead. I cried in the shower for three hours straight.

So i play destiny all the time, but have never really done the raids except for a few rare times. Well sometimes I'll play in the morning before work just to kill time. And it nevers fails, i get invited to do a raid but have to refuse due to work. And i get home and try to run a raid and no replied. Lol thats the only reason i hate raids

2 RespuestasGood for you buddy. Personally, I hate playing with younger kids. Not because of the stereotype, but because every time I do they are so disrespectful. I get it, it's Xbox, but come on. Had I talked like that when I was a kid, I would have been beaten to hell. Anytime I try to give these kids a chance I end up regretting it. But that's just me.

2 RespuestasI helped a raid team with kings fall raid this week. After joining a "must be experienced/know what to do group" only to find out that me and 1 other "knew what to do". After they explained that they had been unable to find a team due to inexperience, i thought... hell why not. I got help at the beginning. So off we went, took 2 hours all challenges complete and made 5 new friends. Good to pay it back. When the time comes.
