Greetings everyone,
I was curious about purchasing Destiny The Collection and was curious what you Bnet users thought?
At this point in time, is it worth it jumping in or should I wait for Destiny 2 to jump into the mayhem?
I'm sure I'll purchase Destiny 2, but is the community live and well where I'll enjoy playing Destiny 1?
Thank you in advance for your response.

It's on sale. Yes.
-
-
Id' hold off. none of your work will matter in 4 months.
-
If money is tight wait for 2. If it's not much of an issue just buy the collection and enjoy.
-
3 RespuestasYes. And I would be willing to personally show you the ropes once you get it.
-
Definitely get it now if you're already planning on Destiny 2.
-
4 months is a long time. I'd buy the collection if I were you.
-
1 RespuestaI originally would have said just wait for d2, but so far everything in the d2 trailer is just more of destiny 1. So yeah, grab d1 the collection on sale and start now! This could all change on Wednesday though.

Nothing is carrying over to D2... So the only reason to play D1 at this point is for the fun and to be able to say you were there

I love Destiny. But at this point, if the were you and know what I know, I would probably preorder D2 and wait for the beta. Sure, you'll get some play time between now and September. But we don't know how long the beta will last. That being said. If you have $60 to blow and you plan on playing a LOT, then you MAY be able to grind out your age of Triumph book and get to rank 7 for the shirt, if that's something you're interested in. I think you have like 2.5 months to do that. Could be a challenge for you and make it interesting. If you do decide to jump on, feel free to add me on PS4 if you're on that console. Psn is Kyllap.

id say get destiny 1. with the newest DLCs as a bundle it's in the best shape it's ever been in. and for a fresh starter it could keep you entertained all the way to the release of D2. also i think the game felt a little lacking in year 1. The loot system, the progress system, and the content has been expanded. I came back 3 weeks ago, and im having a blast. BUT ONLY IF YOU PLAN TO GET THE LATEST DLC (rise of Iron). Otherwise the game will gate you from certain higher level content. and you will just end up with a taster, not the full experience
-
Yeah you'll get a summer of playtime for sure. Destiny has some great moments it's worth the price. Don't listen to the asshats saying no , it's very much alive and will be for some time .

Nodoy wants to do the refer a friend with this person? I would but I finally found someone to run the quest with
-
It's gonna be a ghost town when D2 hits
-
Sure. It's like 6.99 at GameStop and probably the best value for your money.
-
Wouldn't recommend it
-
-
Nope just wait
-
I would just wait for D2
-
Nope. nothing in D1 will carry over to D2 which is only just under 4 months away with the Beta even closer.
-
4 RespuestasI think the whole lot of it is around £20 on psn at the minute, it's definitely worth it for the money and you've got until September until destiny 2 is out so plenty of time to get some experience.
-
no it not worth it there is way too much fun and to many rewards. I have way to many jump ships that make my place look like a car park so many guns I could outfit a entire army plus that not including all the armour that I got. In conclusion yes it bloody well worth it and a whole lot more😜
-
Why not? It will get you familiar with everything before Destiny 2 launches
-
Of course its worth getting there's shit loads todo on destiny as a new starter

Editado por GothikPuppy: 5/15/2017 5:28:54 AMGet involved and get the noob in you squashed before D2. Still a very large active community and if you haven't played before then you'll get a much better 1st experience than most of us did.

1 RespuestaStill plenty playing D1, and for all the expansions now price wise it's worth it. I've never spent so much time on any other game ever. I would say buy it.
