Lol remember that time god killed every first born child, or all the other times he killed thousands of people at a time, ahh good times
English

That is an blatant oversimplification of what is actually in the Bible.
-
Well obviously
-
Yea that doesn't paint an accurate picture. For example the previous pharaoh of Egypt had himself had every Israelite boy that was born slaughtered.
-
Do you honestly think my goal was accuracy?
-
Not sure what it was tbh
-
-
God killed those people because they were directly attacking and forsaking him in their cities. As of the kids, it doesn't just get at the Egyptians, those kids may or may not have been led to heaven for their innocence, depending on what would have happened in their lives or what was in their minds. Therefore it doesn't exactly harm the kids completely, but more so the egyptians. Not to sound rude, it's good to know the biblical motives and understand god, the bible and how righteousness is judged before trying to point fingers.
-
So much bullshit, im sorry but you cannot justify the senseless killing of children in any sense
-
that story may not b true..and since God does not kill humans, except for Himself, it most likely is not true.
-
I just did. Did you read the whole post? Did you understand it? Getting angry doesn't get you anywhere.
-
Im not angry, and you only justified it in your own mind lol, and yes i read it all and its just as much bullshit as all the other things people say to try and defend all sick -blam!-ed up shit god did in the old testament.
-
Ok. Tell me how that was "only justified in my mind" and how it was apparently bull shit. You can even ask me about how the flood killing all the animals was justified. That explanation I gave you requires you to accept heaven being in the bible, which it is, and to understand god. That should work for you. That's also why I told you to know God.
-
Look how about this, you can keep justifying genocide and murder, and ill keep thinking religion is bullshit, lets just leave it at that
-
You can try to distort God's righteousness to make it sound like evil all you want. Do you even know what you are saying?
justifying murder and genocide
If it is just, then what is wrong with it? Of course, humans have never conducted either of these things in a just way, so it definitely seems surprising. Saying religion is bullshit when I very clearly explained the justification behind God's actions, is bullshit. That's basically saying you are calling righteousness bull shit. When I say to find the answers to your questionings of the bible... using the bible... I wasn't kidding. You're gonna find the answers, I promise. Every single time, as long as you follow through your actions correctly and God allows it. When there is literally scientific proof of this God, keep in mind you are questioning God's righteousness. I'm not trying to call you stupid, but this is going to take a lot more than glance to understand.

If god is si rightous why bone cancer in children to quote Stephen Fry. Your god has morals to stand on. Go away you anthropalogical curiosity.

Editado por ol azo: 5/12/2017 11:08:00 PMI had another post about how the egyptians children were attacked, it's a similar situation to that. It's in this thread. That said person may have been like that of the egyptians, in a similar situation. Besides, it's not like God causes any suffering. He is never the source of suffering
-
If "god" was a leader in the 1940's, he'd probably have been an authoritarian leader like Hitler or Stalin. By justifying "god" you are pretty much justifying Hitler, Stalin or Mao's actions.
-
Editado por ol azo: 5/12/2017 9:23:40 PMNo, because their actions were fulfilled under different motives and for different reasons. Again, trying to distort righteousness does not work.
-
Dude i stopped caring about what you had to say like two posts ago, did you not read my last comment?, go and be deluded somewhere else please
-
Ok. I'm not deluded, not sure where you got that from. But you better know what you are talking about before you say anything. Done.
-
He only killed the Egyptian first borns because the Egyptians wouldn't free the Israelites.
-
Oh that's okay then.
-
So then why not just kill the egyptians responsible?, what the -blam!- did the kids do to deserve to be massacred?
-
So then why not just kill the egyptians responsible?, what the -blam!- did the kids do to deserve to be massacred?
Well if those kids were innocent, then death was a mercy, and they didn't have to live long enough to have the world corrupt them. Death is only hopeless if you believe that this life is all there is.
-
That makes no sense
