Elimination has devolved into a boring gamemode where players simply camp sniper lanes as their ammo regenerates. The tactics are always the same, rush a certain lane, throw grenades, pull out icebreaker. Every match of elimination is the same. Worst yet, It feels like if Icebreaker isn't affected by the most recent sniper nerfs. If a person is using a thousand yard stare, I don't mind challenging with a primary, but the Icebreaker can get headshot under fire. I don't challenge when I see a player hard scoped with an Icebreaker. It's moronic to argue that Icebreaker isn't a problem in trials. It forces all players to use it. Otherwise, you are left at a disadvantage when the enemy player has special ammo and you don't. I like running fusion rifles. Who do you think gets an edge over the map at the beginning of each round. The one who enjoys playing with shotguns and fusions but has no special ammo to use them, or the one who get special ammo within seconds and hardscopes the special ammo crates the very beginning? How is that balance or "diversity"?
