OR you could just kill them with storm grip overload, from which you get from killing someone else with your CHARGED storm grip. While you do have to actually do something to get this, it still doesn't matter too much, because a fully charged storm grip takes out most of a Guardian's health anyways, like most melees, so shoot a few bullets at the guy in the control zone, hit em with your melee and kill him, gain BACK your melee, which is MUCH more powerful now, and kill the other guy defending the zone with your melee.
How did you come up with this bullshit ? Overload reduces the cooldown time, and gives you a chance to get the charge back, and that's it. You don't get any additional damage to it after a kill.
Shoulder charge is an ability that requires sprinting to charge it, the only actual melee that is one hit kill is frontstab (and scorch melee when a super is activated), the striker melee never does enough damage to OHK.
It is perfectly fine that strom grip has a sligthly higher damage on hit compared to the other melees since it does not turn into a knife or a smoke bomb, it won't heal on hit, it will not grant invisibility, it won't ignite and deal damage over time, and it doesn't give you an overshield. The melee is strong but not strong enough to OHK, it has short range, and it doesn't have any added ability.

Oh, and also, while running is super hard for a OHK, Warlocks have to activate their super and hunters have it a little easier to go and backstab.

My bad on the first part. Both Overload and Storm Fist do 50% more damage than a Warlock and Hunter Melee. Overload just recharges that OP melee. Two, I think it is very clear that the Shoulder Charge OHKs. Ive been in 1v1 crucible matches and had titans come up and shoulder charge with no damage against me. And while Storm Fist doesnt grant any other abilities, it's special perk allows it to come back INSTANTLY. And do another almost one hit kill. And yes, while it doesnt OHK, I could shoot a khvostov (year 1) bullet at you and then use storm fist to instant kill you. And then do the same once more. I really do not think going "invisible" (because lets face it, using a smoke grenade to go invisible in crucible really isnt that much help, unless you really plan it well so the smoke affects a general area of people around you) or having a OHK only if you activate you super is much worse than having an OP melee you can gain back again. But I guess it's just a buncha B.S.!

If you think it's OP, you are obviously not paying attention to your surroundings while the Titan is sprinting towards you. Get out of the way or shoot them. You still have to punch twice when you use storm grip, or shoot them in addition to get a kill, neither one is an instant kill, and the trade off is lack of range and additional ability such as an overshield etc.

It's a Striker. They excel in "striking". It's literally what makes the subclass decent for close engagements(if you can actually get close enough to melee) It's also slow and horribly clunky(except for the boost). I die to gunfire so quickly on my striker compared to my other two classes because I just can't maneuver, and I'm a larger target. Shoulder charge is annoying, but not op. Jug shield...well,jug shield is crap...I'll give you that. Fortunately,it only protects them from the front, and not many people use it.

I've been OHK'd by it plenty of times, but since it has short range I don't mind it
-
I've been OHK'd by it plenty of times, but since it has short range I don't mind it
No, you haven't, you took some other damage in addition to the melee. Latency can easily make it seem like you got OHK'd but the melee does not do enough damage to OHK.
-
Nope, full bar of health, they come, their fist lands on me, and I die :/
-
It's just lag. I've never OHK a full health guardian of any class with a striker melee...it needs a couple of shots at least first.
-
Somebody else could've shot you at the same time, there was lag, or you just didn't realize you were taking damage prior to the melee, etc.
-
Nope, whenever it happens to me no one was around, there was no lag at all during that match, and he never shot his gun.
-
Other enemies can be far enough that you don't see them while you fighting the Titan, and just because you aren't experiencing latency that doesn't mean that somebody else can't be lagging in that lobby. The melee does not do enough damage to OHK, the other damage you took can be hard to detect at times but you still got hit by something in addition to the melee.
-
Whenever I'm hit with storm grip I'm never shot at nor do I hear the sound of a gun going off, and I ONLY die when it hits me in the head anywhere else it doesn't ohk. And not to mention it would be a very convenient time for lag to kick in as soon as he hits me.
-
You sure it's not just feedback gauntlets? If you melee him, part of that damage comes back on you because of the exotic perk, then MAYBE a single loaded striker melee might have enough to kill you.
-
Nope, they never had feedback gauntlets
-
I guess I just don't believe you then. You obviously aren't as aware of what's happening as you think you are.
-
Well, your opinion I guess
-
Well, since you refuse to believe me althought the damage each melee does is known, all i can i say is that some people keep making these claims, but there never is any video evidence to support it that the melee occasionally does more damage than indented.
-
I'm pretty sure they patched it awhile back or something because NOW it hasn't been doing that recently. But whatever
-
It's literally impossible for it to OHKO you on its own. Was he laggy? Were you tethered? Was he buffed by WoL?
-
No lag, no tether, no nothing he punched me, I had a full bar of health and i died
-

I don't have any videos so I don't know what to show you dude. Nowadays it doesn't happen but it used happen frequently.
