Editado por Icon529: 4/27/2017 10:03:54 PMLol COD is a joke. They just ripped off battlefield. They saw how successful it was and ran with that. COD is one of the worst franchises of all time. Same shit every year. Only this year they wanted to copy another game to make money off of it.

Editado por TFL Washington: 4/29/2017 6:44:30 PMCoD had its roots in WW2 games. The first several ones were all WW2 based. Eventually, Infinity Ward got tired of making WW2 games, so they asked Activision if they could move on too something new. After awhile, Activision gave in. Thus began the creation of the Modern Warfare games. Treyarch got in for a completely different reason that doesn't matter, so ignore the first Black Ops. Then, just like the WW2 games, Modern Warfare games started to decline. So Activision made the push for future games. Black Ops 2 went over alright, but didn't have the sales of CoD at its peak (Modern Warfare 2, I believe). Ghosts is where things started to decline. They tried to add in advanced movement for something new to boost sales, but Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 continued to have declining numbers. Infinite Warfare is where things really started getting bad. Their numbers were so low, that they tried to incentivize purchase of it with Modern Warfare remastered. No one likes the future based games or the advanced movement added in them. Fans have been begging for a return to a "boots on the ground" experience since Advanced Warfare. It takes about 3 years to create a game, so since Treyarch and Infinity Ward had already started development, it would be too costly to scrap those projects and start anew. Plus it wouldn't be a full game at launch. So they launched those games and tried to keep numbers up any way possible. Now that the full circle has finally come around, Sledgehammer's Advanced Warfare to their new WW2 based game, we have a return to "boots on the ground" and CoD's roots. So no, CoD didn't copy Battlefield 1. They've probably been working on CoD WW2 well before Battlefield 1 even released.

Only this year? They ripped off Destiny the last two years. This year almost looks like a carbon copy of Battlefield though.
-
Battlefield 1: world war 1 Cod ww2: world war 2 Also, call of duty started off in world war 2 AND came out before battlefield did.
-
How is it a ripoff if CoD was around longer and are only delivering to the fans what they have been asking for for years?
-
Fnck off with that bs
-
Wonder if its just gonna be -godwinslaw!- zombies, you know since thats their selling point know
-
I think it is.
-
Not exactly a long running game, you'll get bored after a few weeks. Same as any cod game.
-
Destiny 2 will be the exactly the same. Running the same strikes, same pvp maps, same raid. Only different is Cod wont have meta. It will be balanced always. And if there is a OP weapon it wont take SH SIX months to fix one weapon. No faith in bungie anymore.
-
No but if there is an exploit, glitch, or cheat it'll take six months to fix. Lost faith in CoD all three developers 3 years ago.
-
Bye then, I have no need to ever see your posts again.

And we saw a bit -just a bit- of game play 8 months before release. On top of that they answered a few question, Its boots n the ground, and... n@z!s zombies. Respect
