All these political posts fail to see the actual effects and the outcomes of what will happen. Even good ideas can have an impact sometimes in a bad way. Does that mean we should not do it? No only if it makes sense as it needs to be done.
When you have short sighted people who make choices not without actually looking at long term effects it can be devastating. We went over to Afghanistan and Iraq. I am not saying we did not have the right mind frame but we vastly over spent.
If you look at what was involved with contractors who were pals of the Vp or President at the time they profited greatly. We should have not gone into Iraq and we did out of fear another nation would beat us to it. Simply the impact of that choice has plagued us.
As did the choices in the past like for example the United States was helping the Iraqi freedom fighters then when we Did Desert Storm we left them out in the wind. Remember recently when gas prices were crazy? Heck i seen eggs double in prices also from the whole fowl disease.
Things fluctuate and change thus we must be prepared to meet that change. Being inflexible is stupid and it will cost you in the long run. Hell we still have troops in the middle east. Here at home we had the Arm/Baloon thing where people lost homes.
All in a effort for money then the banks were living not up to standards. You remember that where they were flipping investments and trying to collect insurance when it became unmanageable. How quickly people forget the impact all this has had.
