The one about forever 29 and the Age of Triumph Ornaments
Now that the full rotation of the weekly raids has ended. One giant elephant in the room is the consistant issue with end game content and rewards in Destiny.
Someone decided that the loot drops that would be "heckofalot"" didn't include armor. Once again, raid armor has become elusive. Here's the problem with that. If you have 10 Age of Triumph ornaments on each character, and 10 in the Vault. Guess what?....you can no longer hold anymore.
That's right folks. With little to no armor dropping to apply to the newly popular and useless (Strength) on every single piece. We have no stacking higher then 10 to hold onto for the mere hope useful armor will drop that we can apply these ornaments too.
All armor should drop with rerolling abilities. All armor in end game activities should be at least tier 12.
Lets hope in D2. Rerolling is a thing and end game drops are worthy of the grind to get them.

42 RespuestasI've seen many reports that players are happy with a number of weapons dropping, but are not seeing as much Armor drops as they would like. I will pass this feedback along to the designers. Thank you.

10 RespuestasWhat we need is not drops, but chests after each boss. A weapom chest, and an armour chest. We can open one, but not both, thus choosing the appropriate reward. Akin to what was done with faction rank-ups.

I have the trouble of not only dropping gear, but when it does FINALLY drop it drops with a bad roll OR crappy perks. To my surprise, I dropped a 100% chest piece INT/DIS from King's Fall. I was ecstatic! Only to open the armor up and see that it was increased shotgun ammo and arc armor?? Yes, because I wanted to Juggshield-Shotty the Warpriest/Golgoroth/Oryx.. Oh, wait, nevermind that raid is all based around Sniper Rifles?? Smh... I guess it's a nice piece for PvP... LOL

Drops have been nice for me as you can see by my characters over the last 5 weeks. There's a comment below from @R1CHEE which would definitely help by having an armor and gun chest to pick from. Or the "heckofalot" needs to be improved by dropping a gun and armor rather than one or the other. I've certainly had runs where I got no armor and just guns.

how about being able to use the raid materials te re roll the armour? no one wants to fly to the tower run to the speaker and get some motes and glimmer?

4 RespuestasWith generous armor drop rates it would be easier to make a T12 raid set. What happens to me now is that I hardly get any armor and when I get it, it's garbage quality half of the time.

7 RespuestasNot to be a braggart but I got the cloak, helmet, and boots for my hunter from just two VoG runs. That's the only armor set I care about and now my hunter is well on his way to being a Vex Time God (that sweet robot leg though) I do agree though that armor drops are really stingy. I have gotten three Praedyth's Timepieces though

1 RespuestaFeels like some are missing the point : - raid armor drop rates are considerably lower than all other raid awards - I got all adept weapons for each raid each week it was featured (using all 3 characters) - - I was lucky if I got 1 piece of armor to drop - it now appears to be a miracle if said armor has viable stats - though I am running out of room for my challenge ornaments: I don't want to waste on armor I don't like cosmetically or has no viable abilities Note: I am farming every week vault of glass because I want this armor Example: I ran crota challenge and vault of glass on Tuesday with my titan : for both raids I got the helmet and chest piece- awesome right? Except I have both of these already Also I don't really mind the grind but am concerned that it may be difficult to find competent raid teams as others drop off

9 RespuestasForever 29 has absolutely nothing to do with this topic and frankly no relevance in Destiny since the beginning of Year 2. It sounds like you are getting unlucky to be honest. Myself, and nearly everyone I have played with have had generous armor and weapon drops as advertised. I had the full Crota set for 2 characters (all int/disp for Titan and a mixture for Warlock) by the second week, and 3 of 5 for 2 characters for VOG. I have all the weapons both adept and legendary for Crotas End, all but the Pradeyth's Revenge and Found Verdict for VOG. (though I will say it took up until yesterday to get the Hunger of Crota) I will say that King's Fall wasn't very generous but I also didn't waste Knuckles on it so that may be why. I don't care for WoTM, didn't play it, and cannot offer an opinion for it.

My luck in King's Fall, which is what I want for my Hunter and Titan, has been good. VOG drop rates have always been abysmal, and they still are. Want the VOG armor for my Warlock. Crota drop rates have been decent for me, but I don't want that armor. Still haven't run Wrath.

You only get 1 silver dust for dismantling an ornament.

5 RespuestasAt least tier 12? Nah should be much better than that. Tier 40 minimum. Dude if you want good gear work for it. No it should be tier 12 guaranteed, that's so stupid. Those of us who run the raids weekly or trials weekly to get a perfect tier 12 build deserve it. Not the "WTF BUNGO I DID VoG AND I DIDNT GET A FULL SET OF TIER 12 ARMOR WITH THE PERKS I WANT

1 RespuestaTry playing through the raid you want armor from when it's not the weekly featured raid. I have full sets from almost all the raids on each character by doing this. It seems to me that armor drops more frequently when not doing the challenges. If you only play when it's the weekly then it will probably take a long time to collect full sets. As for guaranteed t12, absolutely not. I do like the re-rolling on all the gear idea though.

If the armor isn't dropping for you then why do you need more ornament space if You don't have any armor to use it on? 20 ornaments is plenty when you have nothing to apply them too.....
