Why aren't you 400 Light?
How are there still players that are below 400 Light? Like, seriously.. How is this possible?
I pondered this after receiving a random invite from a 387 Hunter while I was going about my business in the tower. He wanted to raid but found "DestinyLFG's standards too high". I told him that instead of sulking he should just farm higher light gear; an easy feat now that literally [i]any[/i] activity in the game throws it at you.
He quickly ended the conversation by calling me an elitist.

So whether I'm light 400 is based on which load out I'm using. But once you reach light 385 or so the game doesn't play differently to any appreciable degree. Frankly, the guy who called you out as an elitist was right. At light 387, HE IS RAID READY. I completed my first Hard Mode Kingsfall raid at light 305. A high light level doesn't make you a good player...and a lower level (as long as you aren't underpowered) doesn't make you a bad one. But LFG sites ROUTINELY demand that people be overpowered and overqualified for content so that people can "just get this done quickly"....and not actually have to be raid LEADER.

Time, probably. I don't have time to raid much if at all and when I do play it's to run the Nightfall. Only reason I made it to 400 is because of IB's ridiculous loot drop rate and SRL. Otherwise I'd still be in the 390's.

Moved. I had to quit playing in January because I was busy getting things in order. Then movers took my stuff late January and I just now got my Xbox and tv back. Stuck at like 379 but I'm just sticking to strikes until I can start doing better stuff.

It's a simple matter of time to play videogames in a busy world. Don't act like being 400 makes me, you, or anyone else any better. We just have more time to play.

2 RespuestasWell I usually play a few hours a week at most, so there's that. Not to mention that I haven't exactly been focused on max leveling efficiency while playing. It's not really too crazy once you take into account that not everyone has dedicated their life to this game and getting to max light.

Some players don't care. Or they play for fun. Or they don't get to play enough. Or they don't know all the in and outs of how to. There are many reasons and that doesn't make any of them scrubs. But it does make you an elitist to call them that.

I can barely leave the Tower without getting a lecture from Zavala. I respect the man, but sometimes I can see where Cayde-6 is coming from. Dealing with people all day is exhausting... Also, I don't decide what you receive in Faction Packages. I just hand them out. Please direct all complaints to Justicar Ilia.

Definitely lazy. I made it to 370 and then just kinda stopped as I didn't see a point to keep going since I'm not going to be raiding due to all my friends completely dropping the game.
