Do you realize that the crucible lead designer told us to 'try strikes' because we can't stand the lag in pvp?
I just remembered that. What a disconnect...
*Ive been told he said this because some one on Twitter was complaining about sbmm. I thought we were all complaining about the increased latency in crucible due to sbmm. Isn't that why no one likes sbmm...because of the inherent lag?

2 Respuestaspeople SAY they hate it cuz lag, but i get the impression that they hate it cuz now they always gotta try, instead of the occasional EZ win.

37 RespuestasHe said "play strikes" to someone that complained about not winning in trials.

Editado por TheArtist: 4/25/2017 10:26:14 PMNo. He told people to "go play strikes" when they complained about SBMM and having to "sweat all the time", and not being "able to relax". ...and I laughed my ass off applauding him. Because it got right to the heart of the matter. Some people think they have the "right" to "farm" other players to "relax". Not caring that being on the receiving end of that treatment is not the least bit fun.

40 RespuestasEditado por KitsuneSonow: 4/24/2017 12:23:37 AMBungie employees spend too much time thinking their product is flawless and patting themselves on the back to even care about how bad they have made this game or what their players think of it. What's bad is people think this attitude will change with Destiny 2 when it hasn't changed since the release of this game.

8 RespuestasHey, and you all probably pre ordered. SO why bring it up? The actual way to fix said disconnect is to vote with your wallet And you all voted for one more game Expect the exact same treatment
-
But I love strikes!! lol
-
8 RespuestasTo be honest, PvE has an even worse lag problem. In fact, I'm pretty sure every taken thrall uses a lag switch.
-
20 RespuestasI still to this day believe the lag was no problem with sbmm. Many people weren't getting as many kills or their kd was dropping, they didn't want to admit they were getting out gunned or out played so they blamed lag. I rarely see lag it's there but no more than any other game.

95 RespuestasYeah, honestly. I feel most connected to a developer that communicates freely, and genuinely, and doesn't just have weekly filler "updates". Hell, I'd say that the For Honor team is doing a better job than Bungie right now, and that game flopped on launch. They actually recognize that their game has problems, and are slowly but surely fixing them with input from the community. On Bungie's side though: "Welcome to This Week at Bungie!" *fluff and filler intro* "We're so excited to tell you things, just wait, you'll love it, almost there!" *vague bugs that they have no idea how to fix* Wow! Cool! Awesome! Buy silver! *dumb dancing montages* "We've got sooooo much in store for you next week! Tune in again for more nothingness! Deej out!"

Which of the monkeys was it that said this again?

50 RespuestasThey told us we'd have an open world and that Destiny wouldn't be Pay to Win as well. Definitely not open world and Trials is Pay to Win.
-
5 RespuestasThis admitedly snarky answer was made in response to someone complaining that SBMM made crucible "too sweaty" and that it was no longer possible to just "have a relaxing game" (code for destroying n00bs). Context is important.
-
Wait when did he say this?
-
Destiny has trash developers with a toxic community it become everything they promised they wouldn't be. I should've knew from the start since Activision owns they turn into a money grubbing game like COD
-
5 RespuestasProfits are all anyone cares about, the quality of the product is of little concern to them as long as people support this game nothing will change, bottom line dont buy D2.
-
The lag that bugs me the most is when I open my bags to either pop a 3oC or a heavy synth. If they can let me hot button those, or remove backpack lag in d2, I'll be a happy camper!
-
4 RespuestasGonna be worse in Destiny 2 with bigger teams and still using crappy peer to peer.
-
Still finding it amusing that because of Josh Hamrick's moronic actions, everyone seems to have forgotten how much shit Jon Weisnewski put us through. Weisnerfski is 10 times worse than Hamdick will ever be, and once Destiny 2 comes out, and Weisnerfski is back in charge, you'll all be begging for Hamdick back. #TitanMasterRace
-
they're -blam!-ing idiots man what do you expect. the game succeeds despite them being morons...good for them, bad for us.

1 RespuestaHere's my take on the whole situation. Players in y1: waaaah we don't like cbmm the lag is too much! Players in y2: waahh sbmm sucks too there more lag switch it back to cbmm! Players in y3: cbmm still sucks, waahh soooo much lag and cheaters! The community will never be pleased..

4 RespuestasEditado por Poolwizard: 4/24/2017 7:12:14 PMFunny I Play strikes and everyone instantly dies, can't snipe the boss and can't shoot their gun. I go to crucible and I get shot though walls and instant sniped. I thought your guardian is your guardian no matter if ur in crucible or pve activities. Where's the Sbmm in strikes?
