Tried my LDR tonight and omg! They screwed up crucible with the special ammo!
I always use icebreaker because of necessity. But I played one game with my LDR and it felt so good!
Primaries are good right now in my book. But specials are shit. I am so tired of using a side arm. Bring back special! I get it, on some maps side arms are appropriate and others they are not but what choice do we have. You showed us bungie that they have a place, now turn the special ammo switch back on!

A good option is to remove the special ammo and every time you spawn you spawn with same special ammo like sidearms. You use them and thats it,after that you have to use your primary. With this way we can use sniper,shotgun sidearm,etc. The game will be faster and more fun

It's called - - Widening the skill gap for the masses and narrowing it for the elite. This change is mathematically sound for the majority of the player base and won't be reverted. Anyone still having trouble won't be getting any more help. It's run out.

1 RespuestaJust so I have a complete understanding of your frustration.... were you playing a 3v3 game mode? I get the frustration in competitive modes like trails, skirmish, and rumble where there is constant special camping and allot of rounds in elimination to disengage and grab special you would be in 1 v 3 but I honestly do not have issue with special in the 6v6 game modes.

I like it in 6v6 but in trials...omg... You have to run IB or one op primary like wormwood Ooooor camp for 30 sec to get special Hahahahahha

I'm not very good at PvP, don't even think I have a 1kd, but I don't really get why people are complaining about the special ammo, I see alot off players just run straight past them, they spawn at a good rate. So whats the deal??. But with trials I guess it would suck to be camped by icebreaker users, maybe just ban it or something. Dont know nore do i care only done trials once or twice, not a fan..

5 RespuestasSo -blam!-ing sick of sidearm, sticky using players. People use stickies to substitute gunskill, and sidearms because they're meta whores. It doesn't matter if you know your going to lose a gunfight, just hit L1 before they kill you and you will trade, EVERY -blam!-ING TIME. STICKY WHORES.

2 RespuestasHere's what i would want to happen. It will never happen. Just as a note If bungie DID do this, I would be super happy. But they won't cause we're at the end of this games life cycle. My idea is very simple Remove all nerfs. All supers and weapons are where they were when they were at they're peak goodness So infinite orbs from quiver Sunbreaker being OP All supers and weapons at they're best state For 2 weeks. If the community hates it more than it is now, revert the changes, If the community praises it, keep it This way not only are autos competitive again, but so would Thorn and TLW be as well Just a thought.

2 RespuestasNo they should not bring back the special ammo. They should have shipped the game like this and then 2 things would have happened. 1- special weapons wouldn't have been nerfed so much (which slightly effected pve) and 2- people wouldn't be so damn dependent on them and whiney now. Special weapons should feel special and they did not feel that way when everyone was running around using them like primaries. The only thing bungie needs to change now is the magnetism of sticky grenades, they need to work more like they did in halo where you actually had to hit someone to stick them and not get it somewhere in the general area. Then pvp would be in a perfect spot

2 RespuestasI get where people are coming from about how special spawns every minute. It can still be a pain in the ass though for players that prioritize objectives (waiting just one second for ammo could be the difference in losing or gaining map control), especially now that so many people camp ammo crates for kills. Add in the fact that most people use sidearms or Icebreaker anyway and that you're at a disadvantage if you don't. Personally, it's nice to not have shotgun apes flying all over the place anymore, but it really isn't as simple as "special spawns are plenty and all you have to do is pick it up".

Just grab a crate. You can actually go on streaks with snipers this way because you actually focus on finding lanes and not dying, the way it should be. -blam!- I was getting 3 kills before a death with [i]shotguns[/i] the other day.

Pretty sure the recent patch drove a lot of players away. Now all you see are icebreakers, sidearms, stickies that dont even make a sound when they stick to you, and laggers

10 RespuestasSooooo much less fun now than it ever has been. Anyone who says "it's more balanced and primaries are more relevant" just couldn't compete before the update. They left the Crucible for all the babies and addicted pros to squabble over, the average fun-loving Guardian was left behind. I'm sorry, but taking away the ability to hold ammunition through respawn is NOT a solution to weapon balancing. It's Just LAZY

5 RespuestasThe choice you have is to change your special to whatever the hell you like, and pick up ammo for it when you see it, play with your primary until said ammo arrives. Not much of a problem really, think to all other games with 'power' weapons, they spawn in set places on the map, have cooldowns and limited ammo, sounds a hell of a lot like what destiny is now. I think they got it right, to be honest.

1 RespuestaHonestly, I played a few games recently with a matador. I found special a lot. Unfortunately what I also found was that same old Destiny bullshit... But I was able to get multi kills with my full auto matador and for that I am grateful.
