Petition to get Special Ammunition back.
Like and bump this post with an opinion on why removing special ammo was a wrong step toward weapon balancing. I myself would most certainly like to see special ammo back after death in the crucible.

2 RespuestasThey should just give enough special ammo to do the equivalent of 20 kills per game. So 20 shotgun, fusion rifle, sniper shots and whatever shots gets you 20 kills. You don't get anymore. You don't lose anymore. Essentially you have a set amount that gives you enough to get special ammo kills but not enough for a whole match so you have to pick and choose how you ration your special ammo. People still get kills with special but will have to use primary as well. No anger from losing special on death. No unfair advantage for side arms on Rez. No camping special ammo drops. If possible apply this to regen weapons icebreaker and invective (ok really IB is the "issue.")

I'm just tired of no skill scrubs body shotting with ice breaker then one tapping with Eyasluna. And high Cal does -blam!- all to flinch them

Personally I think they should have changed it so that youll only come back with whats left in your magazine, no extra ammo, it would nerf specials but not to the point they are right now.

1 RespuestaPerhaps you should have made a poll and asked people whether they prefer the change or not. I'm quite glad they did this special ammo change. It would've been nice to see this change two years ago before Bungie created this special ammo dependent culture that has so many whiners running to the forum making posts asking for special ammo to be brought back or chumps complaining that they can't use _____ special the entire match and how finding a readily available box of ammo every 60 seconds is just too much work 🙄

I like the change. You have to battle it out with primaries which is the best thing in my opinion. Special spawns so often I can pick some up almost everytime I'm moving around the map. I did the fusion bounty in 3 matches. Did the sniper bounty in about 7 matches but I'm not that good with them so it took longer. Point is special ammo is abundant and it really only impacts people who only used specials which is a good thing.
