I've never understood getting the old stuff.... who cares....

It can be fun to play around with in older activities. Taking year 1 gear into stuff like PoE, which is very fun to do btw.

Some people are OCD about collecting everything. I don't have stuff for Y1 armor and weapon-wise, but after getting them Y2, I never really saw the point to chase a year one version.
