13 RespuestasWell, I suppose those four people that died in Stockholm City had terrible luck then. There should be a death penalty for terrorism. So let me get this straight, you would much rather care for refugees from different countries and foreign backgrounds, then people from your country? You don't know if they're dangerous to your country, yet, your willing to risk it and take a chance? You wouldn't be saying that if you lived here. You know, I can buy you a flight ticket, if you want to visit Sweden. I could set a course to Malmö, or Rinkeby. Or you can see the wonderful destruction he caused in Stockholm City, with your very own eyes. It's easy to protect them when it's not happening in your country. I would post a very good and well made video on this but the people on the right would just dismiss it because "it's bias so it's false" even though they provide multiple sources for what they talk about.

1 RespuestaYou only have to use common sense to realize this statistic is fake. There aren't 3.84 billion people in Europe, but countless people have been killed by refugees. Come on max, even a tiny amount of critical thinking debunks this bullshit
-
but what about all the other crimes that refugees commit? i wouldnt let them off the hook that easy, have some standard of justice.

11 Respuestasand? Why should we open our borders to everybody? If it's not a 0% chance you get killed by a refuge why take it? It's still American lives lost for what
-
4 RespuestasWell there's thousands of open investigations on current refugees in the country already. Most of the refugees were military aged men not women and children like Obama claimed and isis already said they'd sneak people in with the refugees. So why take the risk max? What in the world do you think will be accomplished? Sounds like a death wish
-
4 RespuestasIf that statistic is true... That means, in America, 0.6% of the population is responsible for ~12.5% of the terrorist deaths. So they're ~24(4000%) times more of a risk than Europeans descent Americans who don't even fight each other for ideas! In short, you're more likely to die by X, so let's increase your chance of dying to Y. American 'libertarian' education everyone. 😉

7 RespuestasEditado por LahDsai: 4/11/2017 12:35:33 AMGiven that there are 7.5 billion people on Earth, 1 in 3.64 billion would mean roughly 2 people have been killed by refugees worldwide. That's certainly not the case. A more accurate phrasing would be "Chances of an American being killed by a refugee on American soil between the years 1975-2015 when people are counted multiple times based on the number if years lived during that time period: 1 in 3.64 billion (when rounded down)." Here, I did the math for you:
1975 = 215.97 million 1976 = 218.04 million 1976 = 220.24 million 1978 = 222.58 million 1979 = 225.06 million 1980 = 227.22 million 1981 = 229.47 million 1982 = 231.66 million 1983 = 233.79 million 1984 = 235.82 million 1985 = 237.92 million 1986 = 240.13 million 1987 = 242.29 million 1988 = 244.50 million 1989 = 246.82 million 1990 = 249.62 million 1991 = 252.98 million 1992 = 256.51 million 1993 = 259.92 million 1994 = 263.13 million 1995 = 266.28 million 1996 = 269.39 million 1997 = 272.65 million 1998 = 275.85 million 1999 = 279.04 million 2000 = 282.16 million 2001 = 284.97 million 2002 = 287.63 million 2003 = 290.11 million 2004 = 292.81 million 2005 = 295.52 million 2006 = 298.38 million 2007 = 301.23 million 2008 = 304.09 million 2009 = 306.77 million 2010 = 308.11 million 2011 = 310.45 million 2012 = 312.76 million 2013 = 314.96 million 2014 = 317.34 million 2015 = 319.70 million Total = 10.943 billion source There were 3 deaths caused by terrorist acts performed by Cuban refugees in the 1970s. 10.943 billion / 3 = 3.647 million
If you wanted a more accurate statistic it'd be better to take the original population in 1975 and figure out the number of new citizens by subtracting the number of deaths (roughly 8:1000) from the each year's population and subtracting that number from the following years population. That's roughly 404.69 million (I can post the math later if you like). Given there were three deaths since 1975, that's 1:134.9 million odds of being killed by a refugee, not 1:3.64 billion. To reverse that statistic, the odds of any given refugee killing an American on American soil in that same time frame is 1 in 1 million, give or take (3 deaths / 3.25 million refugees between 1975-2015). I have nothing against refugees, just citing memes as reliable statistics.
-
Yup. Only 2 people have ever been killed by refugees. Accurate.
-
2 RespuestasWhile killing is a crime, it's the other crimes, such as råpe and videos of them destroying property, that has most right wing, or anti-refugee people, frightened of them. So honestly this picture doesn't hit anything. Get the crime statistics and you may have a chance for debate.
