  • Thanks for sharing your feedback. There are a lot of differing opinions on how Trials of Osiris should work. Some would like it to be more accessible and changed where more players can go Flawless. Others maintain that Flawless should remain a great accomplishment that requires a lot of skill and dedication. I will continue to take everyone's opinions to the design team.

        • trials was always this way. Only top tier players, or cheaters or carrys get to the lighthouse. PvP is trash now anyways its not fun The best way to win is not to play

            • I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. This is my first shooter game. (I'm no god in PVP but just your average player here) I rarely played PVP in Y1 and kept it PVE pretty much because I was terrible in the Crucible (even when Suros regime was a fun time when it did 45 to the head and not the pea shooters we have today) Over time I've kept at it, watched streamers, learnt SO much from them... hated hand cannons with a passion (because I sucked at using them) And now I cannot go in to the Crucible without my Palindrome or my Eyasluna and over time I tried to learn to adapt to the meta at the time so I never relied on one weapon type and as much as I love hand cannons, I try to switch it up with different primaries to keep PVP fun for me (that is until I run in to good players and always try to challenge myself even though they just stomp me) but that's the point.. You want to get better. I always try to keep it gun fights only but in reality PVP is 50/50 weapon/abilities (special weapons/grenades) and it's so easy to run around sticking other players without really aiming at them since sticky grenades have so much AA/magnetism to them it's crazy that they haven't been balanced yet and in a "competitive" mode like Trials, I personally think that you should be limited to the ability spam. Grenades need a longer cool down and trials should always be about gun fights only. Anyway I've gone off track here but as an average player that's my opinion and hope that you keep practicing to make it to the lighthouse or try a raffle on Twitch with a streamer willing to help teach you along the way. Good luck :)

              • Your not gonna go flawless with a K/D like that. It's not a privilege to go flawlesss, so don't just expect you go flawless. If you put the effort and time in you WILL go flawless, but until then stop complaining.

                • I can see both sides views, both are relevant. Some say built for Carrys and pay to play or keep practicing. Others say make it easier and death to the tryhards. I came to destiny from bf4, it was a huge learning curve. I was terrible in pvp so I turned to pve. I put time in and learned the game, content went dry so back to pvp. I been there ever since, playing all modes and getting better and pullin my kd out of the toilet, earned my place in trials. Lots of practice got me there. #neverbeencarried

                • You realize Bungie has been outspoken on the fact that Trials isn't meant for casual players, right? Like you aren't supposed to be able to succeed in going flawless. Now you may take issue with that, and that's fine, but it's the way it is at this moment. Also if your solution is to play For Honor...lol nvm.

                      • Translation: i only really started to get into trials for a month now, but right now we are just not good enough to make it to the lighthouse (where the loot is mostly cosmetic). I could do 2 things, 1 learn from my mistakes, become a better player and achieve my goals trough great effort or go to forums, explain how i feel about the current win based matchmaking, and hope that bungie will change it. For a second let's say trials would become equally hard for every player, but the loot will stay the same. Than why should a player that became good with days of gameplay, have to play the same type of enemy's, while the "casuals" can achieve the same loot with a lot less training and practising? How would THAT be fair?

                          • What a bunch of elitist bradberrys we have here in the comments lol. Tell me again how I should git gud when every third round is facing a team of red bars? How do you learn to get better against teams that are constantly elo and k/d farming? Let's see if anyone can actually formulate an intelligent rebuttal, and not retort with arrogance and condescension. Bungie created a PVE game, with PVP as a side note, and in doing so used peer to peer based connection over dedicated servers. No amount of skill or talent will ever overcome my enemy being able to kill me before I can even see them (seriously, I will die and only in the post death screen will their character model pop into view). No, I don't have bad internet speed or connection. Bungie then, to this day, turn a blind eye to people offering paid carry's. There is a crazy monopoly with streamers and even youtubers that is turning over quite a profit for some. But, hey... free advertisement, right? So there are still a few avenues Bungie could go with that could improve ToO, such as > Ranked tiers - if you disagree, then I can only assume that you play trials to n00b stomp, and not for the challenge as claimed > Matchmaking whether connection or elo based - if you disagree, see above > Limiting rewards, i.e., only allowing one flawless run per weekend - hey, if I'm only allowed to get raid rewards once per week then why shouldn't this be a thing to curb farming? Tl;dr: If you're still defending trials in it's current state, then you're either not interested in actually being challenged and just enjoy stomping n00bs or you're standing with Bungie in supporting the abuse and downfall of trials at the hands people who offer paid carry's for personal financial gain. GG

I'm not even going to read this....your title is all I needed to see.... Trials of osiris is a SWEATY game mode meant for COUCH CRUSADERS and YOUTUBE streamers that have nothing better to do than sit on their tails with a controller in their hand while their moms keep tossing an endless supply of Doritos down the stairs..... TRIALS IS NOT FOR CASUALS......

                            • Never been past 5 wins since Trials came out in house of wolves. Used to want all those adept gear and stuff. Now when I see trials gear I just think douche bag. Granted it's all been because of a small few that like to tea bag and send those lovely nasty grams. Like the wonderful "get gurd scrub" or my personal favorite " -insert derogatory homosexual term- break your disk/console you suck." Then there is the rise in paid trials carries. People asking $37USD and up to play a game mode with you to get to a location in a game. I get honoring good PvP players but wow. Trials to me was a great concept but turned into to a festering place that's promoting poor sportsmanship.
