Thoughts on Orissa?
What are your guys thoughts on Orissa? We've now had some time to learn how to play her, so what are your thoughts on her?
Edit: I honestly think she is kind of weak. Her gun's projectiles travel very slowly, its slow firing for an automatic weapon and it's inaccurate. Her abilities are good, but her gun is awful.

5 RespuestasI really like her but she's too weak at the moment. I have 80% win rate and she's my second most played hero on my main acc. She needs a few buffs Halt:Radius increased for more consistency Health: Armor increased by 50 health increased by 50 Supercharger: HP increased to 300/ 100 armor and 200 health I guess a buff to the velocity of her fusion driver but I don't know I've been having a lot of success with it and it's not hard to use.

In my experience, I keep getting killed by a Bastion almost every time I play as Orisa.

She is not unique, she is just a robotic thing with the powers of several heroes rolled up in one.

She's SUPER easy to damage especially when you're McRee or Genji. As for her, I'm not a huge fan. Although, people that know how to play her seem to do well.

19 RespuestasShe's kinda weak due to an easy head hitbox, lower HP, and low mobility. I think her fortify needs to decrease incoming damage a bit more, it's usually not an issue to shoot right through it even in a 1v1 situation. She's not great on attack (rein/Winston is a better combo) but on defense the barrier can help hold a chokepoint. I think with some minor buffs she'll be fine. Oh, and one more thing. SIT AND LAUGH EMOTES FOR ORISA AND SOMBRA god everyone else has them

She's pretty good. I think what separates a good orisa from a bad one is the use of her right click and ult. Knowing when to bongo is important and being able to coordinate w/ your teammates about your grav ball can help out way more than doing your own thing. Also her right click can sometimes net you free kills, you shoot the enemy a bit, pull them, and fire at the ball, you'll either drop them to very low hp or outright kill them. The rest of her kit is meh. She's good if your team needs more damage but already has 2 tanks, you switch one tank to orisa and you'll get a bit more damage

So far my best game with her has been 34 killstreak and 1 death, with a total of 35 eliminations. Playing with her is pretty inconsistent though. I think her mock zarya ult is absolutely pointless. It doesn't even do damage and the range isnt too great. All it does is slightly disrupt or annoy the enemy team for like 2 seconds.

10 RespuestasShe's pretty decent so far. I would like to see a few changes made. Her deployable shield should behave like Torbjorn's Turret. You deploy it and it remains on the field until you either move it or it's destroyed by an opponent. Her Fortify ability should be toggleable much like D.Va's Defense Matrix. I would like to see a [u][b]slight[/b][/u] bump in the damage her arm cannon does.

I was expecting her to be a new main tank option, specifically for defense, but she definitely can't do that. Sure, she can block a fair amount of damage with her barrier and fortify, by she can't bring her barrier down to save it for later if it's taking chip damage, and blocking with fortify still lets the enemy charge their ults. If anything, she's more of a Zarya replacement with her decent range and graviton. Her ult is also difficult to pull off since it's easy to destroy and doesn't grant much freedom of movement. I've had the most success with it by plopping it down behind a shield and, when the shield breaks, sitting on it with fortify. I would want her to get her cooldowns shortened a bit in exchange for less damage from her weapon, but that would make Sombra too good at dealing with her.

She can be one-shotted by a scatter arrow.

She is pretty awesome. Not that great by herself, but with one or two people working with her she can be very devastating. She can fire nonstop for about 11 seconds. And she has some pretty good damage. May be slow traveling projectiles but it's not that hard to lead. Gravity pull is awesome. And fortify does just enough to be useful so you can survive.

Honestly she's my favorite character. Really the only one that really fits my play style. I do agree that the projectiles should move at least 50% faster, but the bloom in her gun doesn't increase. It's ineffective at range but at close range it's really good. There is a good bit of a learning curve to her but she's pretty balanced and works pretty well on certain maps, but more open maps she can have trouble with. She does have a good few counters, but can also counter a couple heroes as well. Examples: soldier, sombra, and pharah can wreck her. Examples of heroes she can counter: genji, bastion, and mei are very easily taken out by her. She's got a bit of a learning curve but is still a pretty good defensive hero.

Too many counters for her. Her cannon is inaccurate and feels like if dva had one gun instead of two. Plus I noticed if mercy is pocketing her I'm still able to out damage orisa as oppose to other tanks.

From the little time I played her, she's alright. To be fair, I rarely ever play Overwatch, but still.
