yeah but then that'd be totally lame: you'd have to double grind! or what you get is only half-valuable now.
the whole point of them being unified is so when you kill Atheon and you get that sick loot, you can go into crucible with it and use it to murderlate your fellow guardians!
"oh wow! that gun you killed me with was sick! where'd you get it?"
"atheon"
you'd have to double grind! or what you get is only half-valuable now.
This may come as a surprise to you but--- not everyone likes Crucible but play it because the Dev's didn't separate them via quests, moments of triumph, etc... For instance: I thought It was ridiculous to have to play PVP to acquire the exotic PVE swords.
-
yeah but you cant assume that everybody only plays just a single aspect, nor should the devs cater to only one. now before you try to say that they already do because PVP nerfs hurt PVE, thats not catering to only a single side; balance is neccessary for PVP to remain playable. devs want players to at least try out everything, and the times you HAVE to play crucible in order to progress a non-crucible quest is very limited. 10 sword kills? mayhem helps with this greatly, and i imagine the average player can progress at it by a degree of at least 1 kill a game, leaving your grand total to 10 mayhem games! you want some REAL PVP quest strife? try getting Thorn in Y1, as a hunter, WITHOUT epilogue or word! kids these days! (since you dont know, ill explain: in year 1 of destiny, certain exotics were only obtainable through exotic bounty quests, and one of those was for Thorn. one of the quest steps, however, was to get a number of VOID kills in crucible, but deaths set you back. it was at about 1 void kill got you 4 ish points but a death set you back by about 2 ish points. and as a hunter in year 1, there was no void sub-class either. and i did it without a void primary no less.)
-
yeah but you cant assume that everybody only plays just a single aspect
I don't which is why they should be separate and optional.
10 sword kills?
It was 25, and if you didn't know how to cheese the quest it would be 75 total. That's a tedious number for someone who already isn't good at PVP.
you want some REAL PVP quest strife? try getting Thorn in Y1, as a hunter, WITHOUT epilogue or word!kids these days!
I did, and it was awful. I wished the whole time it didn't include PVP. I did it, but I didn't like it. Oh and I'm 33 BTW.
since you dont know, ill explain: in year 1 of destiny
Since you don't know, I'm messaging you from my second account. I know year 1 and your mentioned struggles and completed them. All I'm saying is that they should be separate and optional. Having options doesn't piss people off, not having them does.
-
so what bout the devs just wanting everybody to try everything? they put a lot of work into their game and they want everybody to at least get a taste of everything. and besides, its still optional: the game wont refuse to go on unless you play some crucible. but you just want to hear what you want to hear.... also, why do you have a 'second' account? why do you post on the forums through your 'second' account? you do know that there is no way to prove that its your 'second' account, right? i cant think of a good reason to post on your 'second' account....
-
the game wont refuse to go on unless you play some crucible.but you just want to hear what you want to hear....
No, I just want to play what I want to play and get what I want to get that's intended for PVE without having Crucible tied in somehow. I tried it, didn't care for it, and don't feel like I should be obligated to play it in the future.
also, why do you have a 'second' account?
Not that it's any of your business, but I have a second account because at one point I had acquired and experienced all there was to do in Destiny- so I created an additional account to keep playing without feeling like I was just stacking materials. Among other reasons.
you do know that there is no way to prove that its your 'second' account, right?
Is this a serious question? I can't think of one instance when I would need to "prove" to some internet stranger that I have another Destiny account. That's absurd.
-
its also absurd to believe you. you could be the type were in game accolades matter to you and my top level profile is intimidating to you, so you go with a convenient excuse. your direct responses to only a few of my concerns reinforces this. psych profile points to an adolescent.
-
My main account. Case closed Deputy. I leave you be. It's looks like you have some light levels to chase and Grimoire to achieve that "top level profile" that's intimidating everyone.
-
lol this "main" account is just somebody you know. so nice try there buddy, but your scrub friend is still a scrub. your not a Y1 player so his lie about getting Thorn Y1 undermines both your efforts. also, the difference between LL 391 and 400 is bragging rights, so way to further prove my psych profile accurate.
-
this "main" account is just somebody you know.
I knew you'd say that. Lol. I merely commented that PVP and PVE should be separated and 95% of your reponses have been about your obsession about weather or not I have a second account. I have 3 people on my friends list that I play with regularly that have more than 1 account. Like I said, it's not uncommon... just because you don't.
your not a Y1 player
I bought Destiny in April of 2015, which was Year 1.
the difference between LL 391 and 400 is bragging rights
The difference is also calling your profile "top tier" and claiming it intimidates people. You sir, are the Scrub.
-
because you got a friend to colaborate your lie im supposed to believe you? that profile also says its 1 year old, but i just gotta believe you? did you even read my original post? no, because it doesnt agree with you. if you seperated PVE from PVP then if you wanted to play both you would need to grind for gear twice. you cant make that optional. they COULD segragate quests, but like i said earlier, they want people to try both, so mixing some quests here and there is the only way they can INCENTIVISE players to dip in, possibly for their first time. notice that 'incentivise' instead of 'force'? that means its already OPTIONAL.

Editado por Va JJ K47: 4/7/2017 7:40:59 PM
you got a friend to colaborate your lie
No, that didn't happen. I simply logged off of this one and signed in on the other, clicked this post from this current accounts forum activity, and replied from it. It's that simple. You act like I'm hiding government secrets or something.
that profile also says its 1 year old
I know it says it's one year old, that's when I signed up here on the forums. That's how old the Bungie.net account is, not how long you have been playing Destiny. The only reason I found out these forums even existed was because I wanted to join a clan, which led me here. You can check that I played in year 1 by simply clicking on the new record book on that profile page and go down to "commemoration". It shows that I completed "an activity" between HoW and The Taken King, which was Year 1. Anyway, I am not going to argue with you any more about this dumb shit. Believe what you want
-
my top level profile is intimidating to you
Lol... where? I see 3 under leveled characters on your profile.
your direct responses to only a few of my concerns
The only thing you seem to be concerned about is weather I'm telling he truth about having a main account and this being my second. And again, I haven't a clue why you care in the first place, plenty of people have two accounts. It's not like I'm telling you that I flew the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile to the moon and back.
psych profile points to an adolescent.
Lol, what, are you a cop now?
-
there is no difference between 390 light and 400. the extra is there for people that need a little tiny bit more for their ego. oh look, you care about in game accolades. check. you also think my responses were strictly about you. 'only hears what you want to hear' ring a bell? now as for the profiling, im just a psychology enthusiast. since life involves interacting with people it helps out a lot.
-
now as for the profiling, im just a psychology enthusiast. since life involves interacting with people it helps out a lot.
Lol, yeah, I can see how much it helps.
-
i got you pegged so yeah, its helping.

You just told the tale of destiny's broken loot system. The first hot fix was entitled: "The one about the mythoclast". That has been the way of destiny ever since. Grind your ass off for sweet loot. Get said loot. Watch loot get destroyed in a future patch. It's the worst thing about the game.
-
nah, there was still plenty of stuff later that did fine: VoC was consistently popular in PVP, as well as the shotty and PR eventually. outbreak sees plenty of use too. i think it was mostly a fundamental design philosophy that wasnt properly tempered: Mythoclast was OP because they over-estimated its scarcity to balance it out. hopefully, though, with D2, they have better foundations set for better balance. i say design every gun with PVP in mind first, and then adjust it from there for PVE with perks or stats that mostly just benifit PVE, like bigger magazines or quick multi-kill triggers (like a crowd-control that stacks, but each stack is at a lower value than CC is currently, and it lasts for a smaller time).
