As a founding member of the DestinyTruthCast, and a friend of LS and RWG, I'd like to say it's about time, Bungie!
Congrats to Lost Sols and RedWingGirl, and thank you for continuing to fight the good fight long after so many of us moved-on from Destiny. The DTC continues to be a highly informative, Community-focused, non-monetary podcast, that truly is for the people, by the people.
Thank you Bungie, for recognizing the DTC as something deserving of the recognition.

1 RespuestaEditado por BigTexB007: 3/27/2017 8:22:09 PMBan served. Bungie, you can't stop me. You can only hope to contain me. Getting Bungie to recognize b.net's most active and inclusive community members has been something I've been advocating, campaigning, and asking Bungie directly to do for quite some time now. It's long overdue. Very long overdue. It's well deserved. Extremely well deserved. What makes the DTC great is how it's hosts actively include b.net community members. To date most of those members have been from the feedback forum, but the DTC hosts are working to include other forums from the b.net community. I've said this before and I'll keep saying it: It feels like we are being given an opportunity to provide more meaningful feedback than typing words at a screen. In addition, the efforts of those involved has directly resulted in more interaction between Bungie and this community. Don't believe that? Then you're just not paying attention.. I do miss the old regulars. J Steve. War Priest. Draken Wolf. And now you Carnival Law. I'd like to see them on the show again sometime. One year reunion show??? I wish Lost Sols and RWG continued success with this production. To the haters.... well I just got back from a ban from telling one of your people off... ya'll are just great. You folks are awesome, well adjusted, positive, and don't reek of jealous angst in the slightest. You are all a bunch of brilliant people with lots of well thought-out, practical, ideas. You are insuring positive advancement of the human race. Oh yes, and your personal hygiene is above reproach. I bid you all GOOD DAY Now, I think we should all put forth our own efforts to help the DTC take the next step: Deej and/or Cozmo as a guest on the DTC! WHO'S WITH ME?!?!?!

Editado por iDovahBear: 3/26/2017 12:14:16 AMAs one of the people who got asked on early into their Podcast's tenure, and also having been able to receive a second invitation at Lost Sols' courtesy, it's nice to see their efforts didn't go unnoticed. They resonate feelings many players share and they are polite but forward with their assertions. I hope they continue this into the next iteration of the game, but I'm somewhat uncertain of their position w/ D2. Maybe they should have a Podcast about that? A Goodbye Podcast, maybe have the group divided evenly down the middle: 2-3 people who intend to stay, 2-3 people who intend to quit after this iteration. It might spark a really interesting conversation if done correctly. Or just breed animosity. Both work around here.

1 RespuestaTheir efforts and yours to encourage Bungie to interact with the Bnet community is appreciated.

1 RespuestaThank you very much CL. The DTC never could have been without you, RWG, WARPRIEST, J Stevensontown and Woundedbadger and Draken deciding to see what this thing could be and the community wanting to join us and talk Destiny. It's been a pretty incredible experience that I'm glad we got to share.

3 RespuestasCongratulations Sols and RWG (and to you as well CL, you contributed a lot to DTC before Sols had RWG on) on being recognized for your contribution on both the Forums and the DTC. Sols, you have mellowed a bit in how you handle Trolls which I think has actually benefitted you. At the same time I have always appreciated your desire (as well as CL's and WarPriests) to look outside the box at other ways to balance game play other than just nerfing weapons to change the meta. You have also seemed to developed more of an appreciation for the intricacies of the PVE side which I take as a result of RWG's contribution. These things have certainly helped in improving your contributions to these forums and while I may not always agree with your thoughts I do appreciate them. Again, congratulations.

11 RespuestasEditado por WINTER PROPHET: 3/27/2017 3:34:12 PMSo a buddy of mine who still plays Destiny shot me a text and let me know that the DTC was finally recognized by Bungie for the Community Focus. First it was WAY overdue. Second, I'm not suprised. Bungies community focus only being monetary promo individuals via twitch/YouTube/other it's really in their best interests to start including non-monetary focus. Whether or not they do it for Destiny 2... Who knows. *^shrug Like I've said before, I'll continue to return to the forums to support community input that improves the game for the players. How much is always unclear. The DTC does that very thing (game improvement) by putting a voice to members of the community in a format that shows "more-of-who" the community are. Typing "I like the game, I love the game, I enjoy the game" does not give the expressions associated with the passion or feelings behind the words. On the DTC... SAYING those things and expressing the strength of what you like, love, and enjoy about the game DOES. Which is why IMO the existence of the DTC is so important. My hats off to Sols, RWG, CarnivalLaw, JayStevenson, Badger, and everyone who has been on the DTC. Congrats to everyone who started the show, maintains it, and supports it. I do believe that community being on it improves the game experience. To what degree is based on Jason Jones, Luke Smith, Jon Weisnewski, Sage Merril, Tyson Green, Derek Carrol, Cosmo, and many others at Bungie (off the top of my head atm). So GRATZ. Long overdue. Keep up the pace. And Rock the f on. Edit Note: somebody pointed out they didn't know what "DFWH" meant... It's "D-on't F W-ith H-er". Post script-oh. Look. Elemental primaries are coming back. I recall a certain someone saying they'll never be in the game. LOL

Better late than ever, I say. The Good Ones are always last. Congratulations RWG and Lost Sols, You deserve this and more.

I think that is actually awesome. It's super cool they finally did this. I'm happy they listened and highlighted people who care about the community. On a side note, what's been going on with the stability issues? Anyone else having similar problems? https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/223611383

Congrats Sols & RWG you 2 both deserved to be in the community focus for quite some time, and also thanks Carnival for putting this out there I never look at the streamer of the week (ooooops community focus) and I wouldn't have even noticed. Now I gotta try to remember where to find that section so I can read what they had to say for themselves lol.
