Seems they listen but don't hear. The elemental primaries are cool and all but I'm not giving up an weapon slot for an exotic that doesn't have an actual exotic perk. They should have been left as legendaries.

I really don't get it. If AoT is all about reliving our past triumphs, why not just bring back all the old raid drops in their original legendary states? It's not like it would break the game balance at this point (it never did in year one either), and with six months to go to D2, why can't they just let us have fun again? I was really hyped for AoT before Wednesday's stream, but all that hype vanished as soon as they said elemental primaries were now exotic. Why would I use an Exotic Fatebringer against Atheon when the Sleeper Simulant exists? Here's a hint: I wouldn't.

I guess you won't be running an elemental primary, then.

Editado por TheKungLao: 3/23/2017 2:02:56 AM
I guess you won't be running an elemental primary, then.
Astute observation there, Sherlock. How long did it take you to slueth that gem out of my context?
-
Settle down, pal.
-
See? We agree on something
-
Like I've said, all your views aren't wrong, it's that you lashing out at people who still enjoy the game for what it is. I may not like the way they do things but in the end it's their product to put out and I'm going to find enjoyment in it with my compadres.
-
Which I've never had an issue with for one second. My ire is woken by those who make this game and company out as something they clearly aren't and spew Bungie propaganda everywhere. Fun is fun, go have lots of it bud.
-
i see may be 20% on the forums that are fanboy'd out. The other 80% is people either pissed, screaming nerf, or complaints...
-
I rarely see anyone that thinks Bungie can do no wrong, trying to find what's enjoyable about the game and focusing on the is better than giving ones self an ulcer over what's wrong with it. And thanks, I will enjoy the hell out of it while it lasts!
-
What's left to be enjoyed though? The nerfed guns, classes, abilities, micro transactions? Outside of friends maybe, I as a gamer see little to draw a lapsed player back, especially after we were told nothing comes forward. That's not to say a very critical look at the sequel won't, but its going to have to be a 10 out of 10 and this nerf happy bullshit has to go. Nothing worse than grinding for excellence only to have it made crap not long after.
-
The nerfs grind my gears more than anything, but I find ways to overcome the changes and carry on. playing with all these guys is great fun, that's what it's all about when you get down to brass tacks.
-
I don't know man, I have fond memories of what we as guardians used to be, I don't want to sully those memories with what its devolved into. Maybe if the sequel is a true upgrade from this paid beta, I'll come back but it won't be at launch.
-
I have fond memories of that too and there's still apart of me that resents it but I'm an adult and I realize that nothing lasts forever so I don't dwell on it.
-
No, nothing lasts forever. But I don't think not wrecking the game and not removing the fun for the life cycle of said game is asking too much. Oh and not gouging your customers at every opportunity, that's a big one.
-
But you see, that's just it. Fun is subjective and I find there's still fun to be had where you do not, and that's cool. Different strokes for different folks. As for the gouging, it's what the gaming industry is coming to. Love it or hate it, it's hear to stay. As long as people are willing to pay, they're going to milk it. The money I've spent verses the time I've played.... Well, let's just say I've gotten my monies worth and then some.
-
Yeah, I don't get it. It should have just been legendarys
-
Also, it sucks they're not fixing the health regen on Red Death but they are on Suros. I just don't get it
-
I actually think the Red Death is better getting health back per kill in PvE.
-
That's cool but red death was originally designed as PvP weapon. I remember reading this in a Game Informer article before the game launched.
-
Yeah but let's be real, that archtype hasn't been good for pvp for a long time now even with the health regeneration. I've always found Red Death more useful in PvE.
-
Well said. I totally agree
-
This exactly

Editado por TheKungLao: 3/22/2017 9:45:44 PMNo way I'm giving up my exotic swords for a primary burn! Edit: Also, now we have two versions of several weapons and not a damn place to put them all. Do they think this stuff through at all?
