Why is everybody talking about bringing back primary elemental damage? Does it give extra damage?
I only used them for Nightfalls when there was a burn.
Am I missing something?

1 RespuestaMy Primary has been burning for a while now. I think I need to see a doctor.

8 RespuestasEditado por Benzene21: 3/22/2017 7:32:41 PMIt's a year 1 thing, and a bunch of people are stuck in the past. They just want to have something that year 1 had. That must be it because burns are very situational and not really needed. They are almost never used in raids, mostly used in strikes and that's when the specific burn modifier is on.

11 RespuestasIt nice to take shields down faster and the colored bullets look cooler.

6 RespuestasFor strikes and CoE.

1 RespuestaThe old raid weapons were real raid weapons. The Pulse Rifle from CE had a perk to shoot through a knights shield. The AR did extra damage to Wizards and had a solar burn. So you can have a loadout with a large variety of burns to handle different situations, captains or wizards or whoever else. Plus it made them unique as no other legendary had them. No reason at all to remove them. Also was no reason to remove the perk from black hammer - but Bungie is stupid.

3 RespuestasDamage is sexy. Once you understand those three words in a row, you get why people loved primary weapons with an elemental burn.

1 RespuestaHaha troll knows how to troll

3 RespuestasEditado por NYDIBS: 3/22/2017 11:01:39 PMBc wtf not We had them in year 1 and if they don't do much then there was no reason to remove them in the first place I always thought it was convenient to be able to have 1 weapon with element Or on nightfalls you could actually use your primary

3 RespuestasIt's the shit, bring my baby word of crota back!

Flux and solder go together just like elemental and primary weapons.
-
So you can grind the same Strikes we have had for three years with a burn primary now. Duh!!!
-
3 RespuestasSpecials and heavy do elemental burn.... just sayin.
-
They were cool and something special to strive for. They set the hard core player apart from the casual one, as well as being a fun trophy item that had massive PvE potential and advantages.
-
1 RespuestaI don't, was glad when they were removed, am happy they are coming back as exotics.
-
5 RespuestasA: Everyone loves a crutch. B: Its fun C: Some of those shield guys are just fecking annoying.
-
3 RespuestasPeople want the game to be easier. Primarily though people just want them for burns...because it makes the game easier.
-
14 RespuestasWould have been nice to be able to melt a juggernaut shield in the last meta. Now, potential to kill roaming supers more quickly probably.
-
1 RespuestaI don't know either. Besides most people I join in on strikes always use the wrong burn now!! 😂 almost 90% of the time. Lol

12 RespuestasEditado por chickengoujohn93: 3/22/2017 9:21:36 PMTo steam roll Heroics and Nightfalls they most likely don't even play anymore. You would be an idiot to use the Adept/Exotic VoG Primaries in Vault of Glass over Spindle, Sleeper, Gjallarhorn, Swords, Super Good Advice or the Thunderlord and it's variants.

5 RespuestasDuh. To make Destiny great again.
-
5 Respuestasit will make pvp far more interesting with players wearing armour that gives them more shield depending on the subclass they chose, or even better, more shield on one of three but, less for the two they choose.. either way, elemental primaries will be interesting to see break down that one guys defense quicker etc.. In short, FUN.

4 RespuestasIt's not the fact that we want them so bad. It was the bullshit excuse as to why the best weapons in the game were taken. I was always meh about them. But the vision of confluence was the best year 1 all around weapon.

9 RespuestasIt was a Y1 fad everyone can't let go of... I do not understand it either...
