You do realize that this game has been a game that has had run of outlasting many games over its going on three year run right? If you do not like this game anymore, why do you still play it then? I have played and beaten the previous boardlands games, they were good games but no replay ability in my opinion, Destiny continually refreshes itself and keeps the playability factor going. I will have a good look at B3 but I know that the game will have its place as good game. You also realize that your argument of rubber stamp destiny 2 will will apply to B3 right, unless there is not a single thing that is the same from B2, B3 will be the exact same. Hence your argument is irrelevant.

Furthermore is linked to only a couple of zones of the basic patrol area in old russia. They should have just made all of Old Russia accessible either 1) through just one patrol DZ, or 2) made the rest of "old russia" accessible through the new plaguelands DZ, but no. They decided to leave out access to "Steppes, Mothyards, Skywatch and Forgotten Shore" basically making it pointless to only add/update two older locations that have two current states in the game. I find it dumb. Either rebuild the core area of old russia to integrate the new features, or better yet create a whole different zone not linked back to old russia, such as Asia, or a NA urban-ish environment. I just feel like it could have been better, I still enjoy it but once you hit 400 LL, for me anyway the replayability goes way down, I take that back a bit. Coupled with the fact that a few RL friends aren't on as much or on during different times of the day. This is what makes the replayability go down. I just don't feel like making new friends, and would rather play with people i know who aren't going to rage quit on the first wipe and so on. I feel like most people just want instant gratification and/or things to be handed to them and thus at the first sign of trouble will peace out. Also dedicated servers pls, if this is missing from the next game I am pretty sure I'm out. [spoiler](also i doubt it will release this year)[/spoiler]

The Steppes are actually there in the Plaguelands. There's a video on YouTube of someone getting outside the map and going out that way. There are no Grottos on the other side of the tunnel under the refinery, though.

So if i wanted i could get there by glitching my way there. Then what? There's noting to kill, or patrol missions to collect. so its pointless. What i was talking about was eliminating the two "states" of old russia, and making only the siva version active, that way you can still access the other zones for a reason and not by glitching.

Dude... 99% of the company is working the sequel. They didn't even have to give you any new content in the meantime. How about you just be happy they care enough to do so?

I feel like I read they have about 10% still working on Destiny IP and the rest working on the next game. I am at work and don't feel like looking through the entire internet for that post. Numbers could be wrong but it doesn't matter. Typically "New" games take several years to develop and release. Sure they could have been working on this for the past 2 years, but if they are starting from complete scratch or using even a portion of tools/code from this game to implement into D2 (or whatever they are going to call it) I still have my doubts that it will launch by the end of this year as they "PLAN." Mainly due to the fact that it seems the industry standard is to release an "almost finished" game and finish it down the road. *coughcough-Destiny Y1-coughcough* I have seen several so-called Tripple-A titles get pushed back, thus don't see any reason this will be different. You may ask for my reasoning behind this? Just look at their track record on goof ups in coding. It really - imo - speaks for itself. Coupled with my previous statement on releasing incomplete games. Second, they aren't just giving us this "free" content because they love us, and want to shower us with stuff. It's more likely due to the fact that: 1) they are making Old content relevant again by increasing the stats of gear from those areas to draw older players back to the game to increase the playerbase that has been declining. And 2) because they may increase their player base they will probably release more stuff to spend money on via micro transactions, which further fuels their revenue. (since for a MMO some thrive on subs, some thrive on micro transactions) This game falls into the latter category.
