Hey, I've been playing destiny since the alpha and it's sad to see the way the community has changed. I remember when Trials first came out and you were rocking your flawless gear, people would be jealous and ask how if you had any tips for them. Nowadays, everyone questions the legitimacy of your flawless. It's understandable with all the people carrying others and people paying (c'mon, that's pretty sad on its own). The community has no faith in each other. I just hope that in the future the community can celebrate people's accomplishments instead of doubting them.
EDIT: My point is in the last 2 sentences. I just used trials an example.

1 RespuestaThis community became toxic the second everyone realised they could bitch about pvp and it'd be changed because of it. But it's not bungie fault rather the consumers fault. People used to be great back at day one always helping and thanking people when they were answered now it's just troll or meh.

1 RespuestaAccomplishments in video games are like cotton candy. Pretty sweet, but short lived and insubstantial.

12 RespuestasThat's what happens when you throw Winner Take All events that are Unfair-by-Design into a community. They have a toxic and divisive impact. People think that people with flawless gear have either cheated/carried/account recovered to Get it.....because there's a good chance that they have. Especially when you have streamer (and even shadier characters) who have entire BUSINESS MODELS based on undermining the "spirit of competition" that was supposed to underlay Trials. ...and if its tarnished the value of your legitimately earned gear, I'm sorry. I feel for you, I really do. Unfortunately, its Bungie that really owes you the apology.

1 RespuestaCan't do trials, I'm the worst player in PvP. That being said, the stories of people somehow making two of the opposing team get booted from the game has kinda soured the respect I had for flawless emblem and gear. If people can cheat their way to flawless, it kinda diminishes the accomplishment of people who got there legit

If anyone is concerned about the legitimacy of others flawless runs, they should sort out their priorities lol.

Editado por Swift: 3/14/2017 6:01:48 PMPeople were questioning the legitimacy of Trials results after the 2nd week. Also, trials started the downward spiral of special ammo adjustments because of Final Round Spearing and pooped on PvE players.

Trials lol, I only play for the motes of light.

6 RespuestasThis game is sad, almost 2 weeks i been in Horizon, so relaxing , so chilling, so beautiful, came back here,>> 15 minutes of rage , this game are so stressful, can't play anymore, its so hard to play when u realize that everything here is made to waste your life and time . Destiny have shi***est grind system at all, i never seen so huge dissrespect in games with ppl time . F*ck u Bungie. I don't care. I spent thousands hours , over 300 pounds on this piece of sh*t, F*ck u....

1 RespuestaCrucible lag and "phantom" shots were almost non existant for the first 2 months of this game. I cant get 1 game now without "that guy" running around killing everyone red barred. You expect people who dont know how to take the L with grace to congratulate someone for doing something awesome?
-
Trials is a toxic cluster fu## played by whiny snow flakes that are responsible for most of the nerfs that have happened.

22 RespuestasStreamers are destroying the video game industry

All the activities are now easy and most people can complete them. People hate it when they're not special and don't have things most people don't. VoG was hard a first. So was crota and skolas and kings fall. The new raid and everything is all kinda easy. Since people aren't special now they hate others like them.
It really is true when they say people alike people hate each-other
-
Its all about how you work as a team 3 avrage players on a good day can beat alot of "carries"
-
Same, it's pretty sad
-
No one questions the legitimacy it's just no longer that impressive... we've had several years... even my ass has done it legit 4 times or so. Can't say I was carried either. One of them I had to get 19 kills in the ninth win game with no mercy left. So yes even very average players can do it on the right day. Hence why it's no longer that impressive.

12 RespuestasEditado por styles28: 3/13/2017 3:56:25 AMMake it so once someone goes flawless on each character they're locked out of trials for the rest of the weekend. That minimizes the amount someone/streamers can carry people. And if a streamer decides to do an acct recovery on stream then Xbox/ps4 has proof to ban them.

1 Respuestai hope destiny 2 doesnt have any pvp. i feel like it ruined the game. this game was supposed to be a pve based game and it slowly turned the other way around over the last years.
-
8 RespuestasOK I have been away for a while and have finally come back (literally today). Now there are a lot of new bits and bobs since the last time I played destiny.. But when you said "Paid" do you mean real money ? And what are they paying for have bungie put a in game store or something
-
5 RespuestasEditado por Salt: 3/13/2017 9:01:51 PMDestiny community became your typical fps community like cod,bf, halo etc instead of what it should've been, pvp ruined this game regardless if it stretched its lifespan, I bought this game for pve and it's getting barely any support, literally the pvp nerfs ruined the experience...., never would've thought destiny would have this much elitisism just looking back at the trailers in 2013-2014, Destiny just doesn't have that magic it should've had, hopeful for Destiny 2 and I'm glad we're getting a fresh start, it's very much needed whether you hate or not
-
the only thing this community is going to celebrate is when a nerf patch comes out
-
6 RespuestasActivision/Blizzard just recently started banning accounts in World of Warcraft for paid Dungeon carries. If they're doing that for PVE they might start banning people for paid trials carries soon.
-
Sike, raid carries son.
-
The community has no faith in each other because Bungie has taken the "community" out of the game. When Bungie did an about-face on the social MMO aspects of the game and started catering more to the solo players, the game took a huge step away from reliance on a tight social community. The raids, night falls, and content like are so much easier than they use to be that a lot of it can be solo'd or you just need a few warm body fillers to get through. Also, yes gear and weapons mean nothing if 1) PVE content is easy and solo players can get to top light level without even doing endgame content and 2) a scrub can pay for a flawless carry which is the saddest thing.
-
I remember the first few times i played trials it was actually a test of skill against another player's skill. Now its a gamble of if you'll run into a team that isnt going to lagswitch you.
-
19 RespuestasTrials killed Destiny. Its just another pvp cod wannabe that will never admit it. I didnt buy this game for pvp and it wasnt advertised as a pvp focused game but ever since trials pvp has dictated and strangled this game to death through nerfs and devs being too afraid to add awesome stuff into the game because of it being OP in pvp.
-
You forgot about the connection manipulators and DOS'ers. I suck at trials and still come across these people every time I play it.
