No offence but this basically makes no sense. Most sequels do not allow you to carry the stuff you had forward. Look at Titanfall2,Call of Duty (Whatever the new ones called) Battlefield 1, Starcraft 2....the list goes on. You know what they all have in common? You couldn't keep stuff from the prequels.
Destiny 2 is a sequel

The no carry across works for FPS basics, Titanfall, CoD ect. However Destiny is a FPS MMO Every MMO I've played and even a couple of RPGs have carried gear across expansions, in some form or another. So what should happen here is simple, a limited, amount of gear should be carried. I'm not asking for all perhaps even a 1 time allotment of collecting 3 sets of armour, and an Exotic wall similar in fashion to the current one with a 3 limited usage with the rest being unlocked at later date. But taking all the gear off me... You will find me playing D1 in moderate doses, till the servers shut down and even then I'll not be purchasing D2.

They need to completely remake them

Ok let me re-phrase. The term sequel in recent years has started to have less meaning with certain games and game types. Effectively each sequel is simply an expansion. Take Mass Effect. Each game is a technical sequel, as each one deals with a different mission. The first is finding out about the Reapers, the second is learning about them, the third is stopping them. But each game is really an expansion, a continuation of the story. It made sense then, that characters that appeared and events that happened in the first had carried into the second and third. Apply that to gear, because although we lost gear at the beginning of each game, we quickly got back the majority of it in each sequel, all be it slightly reworked for that variation in series. A similar thing should happen here. Effectively I should be able to start D2 with any of the weapons I've collected in D1, even if the D2 version is a slight rework. A similar idea to how Y1 Destiny exotics people got became instantly available in Y2. Sure they look the same, have very similar perks, but they do have differences.

The reason people were mad with stuff not carrying over is that when destiny started they always talked about their big MMO like 10 year plan

Editado por WALDO: 3/12/2017 3:49:35 PMYou sir are correct! Until that game comes out, I have issues with the current state of vault space, and it is up to me weather I want to get over it and play the rest of destiny 1 or not and just stop right now. Or hope that the voices are heard and they make more space for an old game that they are not focusing on but still need to keep people interested for another 6 months so axtivision doesn't start chopping. I do not intend any of this to be threatening... just a heads up maybe, cause I just can't deal with the phucking vault any more

Today begins week 3 of no destiny...so that's where I'm at. I guess new content to look at isn't enough for this guy, I want to have it too.
