So not only do you assume I've bought countless amounts of silver, you truly believe that paying real cash for in game currency is gambling. You pay the cash, you get the silver. What I assume you mean is treasures and packages with multiple possible rewards, therefore paying silver for an X chance at certain items. Again, clearly states you will receive one of the rewards and not all. No scam involved. Do I think microtransactions are bad for consumers in the gaming industry? Yes. Do I also realise that's unfortunately the route the ENTIRE gaming industry is now taking? Yes. I don't see you bitching about paid DLC? What used to happen is devs would give you a COMPLETE game for half the price of what we pay today. Not a game chopped into installments and sold to you one by one. Again, that's unfortunately the route the gaming industry as a whole has gone down. Destiny/Bungie/Activision are not the first and they certainly won't be the last. Taking a stand against this one game in particular and refusing to play is going to do nothing except harm yourself, especially if you still enjoy the game. You're not leading a revolution, you're not sticking it to the man, you're not the people's champion fighting the good fight. You're just a drop in the salty ocean making a fool out of yourself for something very, very trivial. Like I said, life is too short. If you enjoy it then play. If you don't then move on and leave others who still enjoy it to do so.
