Well women in Saudi Arabia are standing up and starting to fight for more rights. Give it time, not to sound arrogant but Western society is hundreds of years ahead of theirs. They'll catch up. They'll catch up faster if the middle east is stabilzed.

Well we could start off by nixing Islamophobic propaganda from people like OP which does nothing but play straight into the hands of ISIS. I'm not saying Islam is some sacred thing that we must never say a bad word to. I just mean reasonable criticisms. Yes, in the war-torn badlands of the middle east, things are distinctly medieval. Barbaric even. I wont deny that. What I will deny is attempts to paint the entire religion with that brush. Thats a sickening thing to do, and how its casually accepted by so many without actually knowing the first thing about Islam...well. I find that concerning.

What people choose to ignore is stuff like 20 million muslims marched in protest against ISIS through Syria. That ISIS has killed more muslims by far than any other religious group. That other religions also don't really like christians either. ( eg. The Jewish, who has nukes pointed at every country, in case they are attacked. That christian missionaries across many countries violently tried to "assimilate" natives That Jesus was a middle eastern man seeking refuge That the crusades eventuated because christians wanted to kill or convert muslims. List continues.
