This is NOT a negative post. Just an opinion. 😁
I'm also not posting this because I'm so great at pvp and trials... 😬 I'm alright...

I agree that the special changes, while well-intentioned, maybe took things a little too far. Having only one working weapon ensures that a Guardian is only really effective within a certain set of distances. With my Hunter, who's become my alpha Guardan for this IB, the first thing I say to myself upon respawn is "hold back, avoid the enemy until your shotgun ammo regenerates". Because quite simply, with only one weapon, she's less effective. Let me be clear: I am not saying this as a whiner who's getting spanked in the Crucible and can't deal with it. I have actually benefitted greatly from the removal of most of the snipers and shotgun users from play. It took me two years to get two Reign of Terror medals in all. This morning, my Hunter bagged two more in two hours, and would have nailed a third if not for a disastrous combination of bad luck and pure stupidity on my part. I haven't done this well since the days of pre-nerf Last Word. I'm simply saying that I think people should be able to choose their weapon loadout, rather than having it chosen for them. The current meta is "sidearms or nothing", and I think tat even if sidearms only have a small quantity of ammo on respawn, that will stay the same: a second-rate weapon that you can depend on is better than a superior one that you can't. I support a primary meta, I really do. There are a lot of really fun primary weapons available. But I also think specials should be reliably available to supplement your primary, whether you just died or not.

2 RespuestasTrials or regular crucible is more fun when you can choose any weapon and be "competitive". You can't be competitive without bullets in your gun. The ammo changes just made a tired game even more boring by promoting specific weapon choices and encouraging passive play.

9 RespuestasOh boy, mindlessly blinking around with a shotgun, that sure takes a lot of skill! I don't miss that meta one bit. I've been using primaries as actual primaries since I joined in TTK, and have been using a sidearm all throughout it. I drump truck people sidearm v sidearm since I'm so used to them already. This is meta takes more skill because [i]you actually have to aim now! :O[/i] Shame you couldn't have picked up that skill with a shotgun.

And I'm the kind of person who hates getting t-bagged but I can recognize when I get outplayed still and accept the t-bag for what it is...These guys are just salty and think anything that helps someone perform to the best of their ability is a crutch...
