Shotguns are useless now!
I used to love using shotguns. They we my favourite special weapon. But upon receiving the last word I received a quest and one step was to get renown in the crucible with a shotgun, later did I realise it was near impossible to do..
I would love to see shotguns back to where they were before.
Improvements needed consist of
-improved range as the are only good at melee type ranges
-Impact since they fire slow, they need some damage!

Not useless Now requires more accuracy & time to line up shots. I was about the only person using shotty in iron garbage. Destroying kids. The ammo is the issue.

26 RespuestasNo thanks. Shotguns are fine now. They are still very usable in PvP, it just takes a bit more skill and now they are usable in less situations. It's fine by me, no weapon should be OP in all situations, and shotguns were waaaay overused because of that Matador/last ditch (and maybe others with the right perks) mega range. I see many people still rocking Universal Remote, even after all the nerfs and some legendary shotguns. And you see a lot more variety now, people are actually using Fusion rifles! (bungie will nerf them even more now).

1 Respuestayeah dude.. if you can only kill with the meta good tool weapons.. you should work on your aim, map/enemy awareness. I used to run invective but I'm glad I don't have to now. now I get in gunfights... until Tuesday 😁😁😁

Oh no!!! Little jimmy misses his mapador 69:/ sucks to suck dude. They nerfed my beloved Thorn to all hell when ttk came out...not to mention the later nerf to its range:( All the good and viable weapons will always be targeted and nerfed in a bungie game.

Want range use that archetype. Just don't bumrush like a lemming and you'll do fine. I've got the best of both worlds full auto version and max range matador. Both had me dominating rumble in the first week after the patch

The only thing they need is their mid air accuracy back along with slightly less damage fall off. These past few nerfs basically killed them completely.

You can do what I did. Get your shotgun kills in pve and once you get to 100% all you need is one shotgun kill in pvp.

They are the heaviest hitting special. They don't need increased range they still map you. The only things that need to be changed are flinches on snipers and pull up speed from shotguns. I would like to see this
