I'm OK with not getting rushed with shotguns that fire like auto rifles. Now if they decreased the range I'd be listening.

Yes I was, and shotguns were a nightmare in the hands of a skilled player. Year 1 had a much bigger player base which meant a ton more unskilled players. This meant a lot of noobs running straight at you without evading or sliding, I know because I was one. Now that the game is coming on 3 years old the only people left playing are the hardcore/dedicated players which means weapons like shotguns have more or less been perfected by the majority of players. Shotguns are the easiest weapon to get good with and that is why they are a problem.

Invective has an incredible fire rate and really good range. The ammo spawn time is the only thing keeping them out of crucible atm

You're ignorant the range on invective is nothin compared to other shotguns.

Do you even look at stats before you post calling other people ignorant? Because invective has the same range as matador and nearly 4 times the fire rate. The impact is what I believe you were referring to, which is OK at 46. But that can be negated by firing the weapon in quick succession. Next time don't embrace yourself by calling someone ignorant when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Then why aren't people using invective then?

Because of the ammo regeneration time. Matador is a better shotgun overall so most people will just wait the extra few seconds to pick up the ammo crate. But if invective spawn time is increased you will see a flood of invective rushers.

The range on invective is ok but not that good. See and this is the issue I have. People don't have issues with icebreaker, but they get all bent out of shape over a shotgun..... People need to fn grow up.

Invective has over 3 times the fire rate of matador and it has the same range but I guess that only qualifies for "ok". And the reason why people get bent out of shape on shotguns is because they require the least amount of skill and are the most forgiving of all the special weapons.

Matador and invective are like apples and oranges. Sure they are both fruit, but that's where the similarities end. Out of curiosity, who exactly claimed that one OHK weapon is less skilled than another? Hate breaking it to ya, but none of them are more skilled than another.

You were the one that decided that insulting me was better than an actual discussion. So I'm not the one who got all Butthurt that had to resort to childish insults. Then you tried to make the argument that shotguns took the same amount of skill as a sniper, which is the first time I have ever heard that argument attempted to be made. Notice how it wasn't directed at anyone in particular? That's right, because I didn't direct it at anyone. It was a general statement. I would have worded it much differently if I directed it at you. Second point. I did not say you couldn't compare the two shotguns. What I was doing was telling you that comparing the rof of the slowest rof shotgun to invective was a bit pointless due to them not being in similar archtypes. Nothing more. Third, yes all OHK specials take the exact same skill. How you approach each weapon is where the skill is involved, and none are more than the others.

First off you said "people need to fn grow up" in response to my post implying that I was one of those people. Second you said comparing the two archetypes was like apples and oranges, that is categorically false, it's like comparing a granny smith and a red delicious, we all know one is better than the other. And lastly I would love to see a poll on which weapon took more skill to be effective with, I don't think you would be happy with the results.

It has average fire rate and ok range.

It has the second fastest time between shots of any shotgun how is that average? Add to that the fact that it has the same range as matador and you have a very effective weapon. I honestly have no idea what you people are complaining about.
