No land beyond is a problem to trials
Okay so I'm a good player 2k elo 1.7kd, this week in trials I've ran into a no land beyond probably every game. I've used no land I'm good with it but tbh this gun takes no skill in my opinion, I lost to extremely bad little squeaker this weekend because of this gun with its no flinch and aim assist. I have a 3 tap scout and they flinch pretty good and I can't count how many times I had 2 heads hots going for the third and I get domed. To me that's bullshit lol, I just think nlb is too easy of a gun to use and no flinch on it doesn't help. Put a actually primary on these scrubs and they will get smoked.

No the ammo changes are a problem in trials- all the snipers have had to switch to NLB to continue sniping.

The last "meta" was good for your style, maybe that has artificially inflated your opinion over the last iteration of crucible updates.

9 RespuestasYour k/d & especially your Elo has little to nothing to do with you being right or wrong. Instead, focus on actually using the weapon yourself and looking at its stats. If you did pay some attention to the weapon you'd know the base AA value is 40. Then if you paid attention to the AA values of snipers in general you'd know that after the AA nerf for longbow, ldr, & snipers of similar values were brought down to the mid to high 40's because those were seen as low values while there are things at the top like Zen Meteor at 80. Sure it's annoying to get domed by nlb when shooting someone but that doesn't mean nlb is essentially the problem. Not only are slow firing weapons not good for flinching snipers, most players stand still while shooting which adds to them being an easy target. Try using a pulse or auto as well as strafing & you'd have an easier time fighting snipers. Lastly, please don't tell someone else to use a primary when your top 4 most used things in terms of crucible kills don't include primary weapons. Your shotgun usage as well as your sniper usage is more than twice that of any primary you use.

This sandbox team chokes on dik. When NLB becomes OP and starts getting complaints, it's apparent that every other weapon has been fuked straight into the ground. GG BUNGLE.

Dude it's funny how many of these other commenters still think NLB sucks. They just can't grasp the idea of NLB being OP which it is. Their KDs say everything.

I don't do trials, so my opinion prolly don't matter. I've watched several vids of streamers and the like in trials the last few months or so. The NLB has been in most( even before patch), also I see more shots that don't kill then 1 shot kill. That's including vanguard, cammy,fruit, byf, Demetrius etc. Not so sure NLB is OP from my observation; I do see it a lot more in all pvp since patch though. Peeps are going to use what they think they can win with; I personally like a challenge and fun factor win or lose. I can't stand to camp with snipes/scouts/shotties, just isn't fun for me personally. The Parthian shot can 2 shot anything now( don't care for it myself) but a shot/strafe/shot seems to be in order. Also has the option to rush those teams with a sidearm as well( sir Demetrius just had a vid and said he hadn't used sidearms recently if at all, but was capping their asses with it( he did lose the match, but 1v3 and I believe all using NLB. Since all my friends and family left destiny ages ago, I have no need or want to do a 3v3 against a fireteam that lives in trials. Besides that, the doctrine is the only thing I've seen from trials I would want to get; and after fine tuning my zarinaea d skills, it hangs with the doc anyways.

well, what happens when you effectively take away all the OHK secondaries? all the tryhards use the OHK primaries. solution: stop playing trials.

11 RespuestasWhat is hilarious to me is that in the course of about a year, a joke gun has turned into one of the most feared weapons in the game. People would literally laugh hysterically when they saw people using no land beyond in crucible. No land beyond had not been buffed since then, it's just that everything else has been nerfed so many times that no land seems OP in comparison. Lol bungo.

Well, Black Shield being the map did not help. But honestly, [i]Trials[/i] is the biggest problem for Trials. I don't think the same changes every patch should universally apply to Crucible, Trials, and PvE. I mean, Trials is it's own beast. They should adjust it [i]separately[/i] from regular crucible. Because it's not regular crucible.

Which means if you don't have a headshot lined up already when someone starts shooting you, then you've probably lost. It's impossible to line up a head shot when your flinching already. What this means is that if you get domed by a nlb sniper while you're shooting him, then you have already been caught out of position and vulnerable. The only reason you haven't died is a slow trigger finger from the sniper. You've already been like 90% outplayed. Edit: I'm not saying I'm ok with nlb not having flinch. What I'm saying is a counter point to people saying the weapon is op, not to those saying it should flinch.
