General trend I'm seeing:
Good players like the changes.
Bad players hate the changes.
Go figure. The update focuses on having gunskill. The skill gap is much wider since so many people have not used a primary weapon in months. Oh well, keep crying.

Handcannons to be exact, they actually got buffed so i should love it right? No i still hate this patch. You dont have to be good or bad to see that this patch brought a lot of balancing flaws.

Editado por Letstradeammo: 2/19/2017 2:12:01 AMThis game didn't have a skill gap in the first place. You can't widen something that isn't there!

....true. Dammit, you got me. Lol

So as a Chaperone user I'm a bad player for hating the change
-
Did the update hurt your Chaperone?
-
You must be that great player
-
I'm pretty bad actually. Been to the lighthouse once in year 2.
-
Seriously? Because that KDR is over the top.
-
....I'm jk. I do carries if you need some help.
-
Carry me lawl xdd

Bump this people!!!

The skillgap would be there if sidearms didn't exist.
-
The only thing I dislike is the broken changes to health, the minute difference in auto rifles, and the "I suck with primaries so I'll spam sidearm or NLB and that makes me skilled". The patch is overall bad because the good changes barely effected anything.
-
The only thing bad about sidearms is that special ammo stacks from round to round. I think people should start with the default amount of sidearm ammo instead of being able to hold 100 bullets the whole game.
-
Yeah. If they die, lose all special, and then spawned in with the extra mag, it wouldn't be bad. But having 100 rounds, dying, and then spawning with 100 rounds is a problem.
-
I consider myself a good player, and i personally dislike the special ammo change, makes it much harder to do trials carrys tbh. Not much secondary diversity either its just sidearms and icebreaker. The primary changes were great they made it so you could combat shotgun apes and people in africa with snipers, then took special away for no reason. Also the fact they didnt touch skorris triggers the fk outta me.
-
Weird. I find it much, much, much easier to do carries. I just out-primary everyone. It's a piece of cake when the other team isn't rushing with shotguns or camping back with snipers. And people are using sidearms + Ice Breaker because no one is giving special ammo a chance for some reason. My first card I used Ice Breaker. Then I realized that during matches I had plenty of opportunities to grab special ammo. I went back to using my regular Special weapon and it's just fine. So what if I start the round with no ammo? By the time I get to the middle of the map 15 seconds have already passed. If the opponents are there, then we fight with primaries. If not, then I can just walk over to a special ammo crate since it'll be spawning in a few more seconds....then boom.....I have special ammo with my regular sniper. Try NOT using sidearm or Ice Breaker. It's really not that bad. You have plenty of chances to grab special ammo.

Yeah the only thing is most of my sherpee's struggle with teamshotting, so it ends up being a 2v3 for a majority of games. Im still running my same y1 setup, HC and shotty i dont even have a sidearm to use if i wanted to, or an icebreaker. I feel like primaries are strong enough to counter snipers and shotguns currently, and if they didnt go through with that special ammo change this meta would be really really enjoyable. I played a literal 18 minute game yesterday because a team refused to challenge my team they just sat with skorris until cap point, my sherpee had skorris and i ended up popping 5 stormcaller supers against them. Most of these average players are afraid of challenging with a primary and it ends up being a game of abilities which isnt very enjoyable tbh.

I've not been motivated to come back. My clan wants to run IB so that will be what I come back for.
