And the Big Bang?
-
Also a theory.
-
Exactly

Editado por Ahsinjii: 2/17/2017 10:04:15 AMSome people don't know the difference between theory and scientific theory unfortunately
-
Some people don't know a theory isn't a fact regardless
-
You should look up the difference between a thesis a theory and a scientific theory. You might be surprised
-
You should look up why it's called a scientific theory and not a scientific fact, you might surprise yourself
-
Lol I have. The scientists say that scientific theory is fact
-
Well shit maybe you're scientists need to learn the difference between a hypothesis and a fact
-
Its not a "hypothesis" in order for something to be recognised as a scientific theory it needs to be well substantiated with enough evidence to prove without a doubt that it is factual, which evolution has in droves. The definition of "scientific theory" A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world.
-
It's a theory, not fact. Get over it
-
Editado por Ahsinjii: 2/17/2017 10:52:04 AMIt's a fact, wether you choose to accept it or not. So far you have 1. Failed to respond to my point about the difference between theory and scientific theory, resorting to a childish response "Its a theory, not fact. Get over it" So is Einstein's theory of relativity, Germ Theory and Gravity. 2. Failed to provide any evidence of evolution being anything less than a fact Your entire argument against evolution is based on a misinterpretation of the definition of scientific theory, confusing it with a hypothesis. The word "theory" in the scientific theory of evolution has absolutely no basis on its validity and were it not there your entire argument against it would not exist. Once again the definition of a scientific theory in case you missed it the first time A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world. Do you have any actual evidence to support your claim or are you founding your entire argument on the inclusion of the word theory in the term "scientific theory?"
-
Theory does not equal fact, you may need to go back to grade school if you do not understand this
-
You have once again failed to address any of the points I made namely the difference between theory and scientific theory. You do understand the difference between the two right? If not perhaps you need to go back to "grade school" and learn the difference. Do you have any actual argument to make against evolution or are you going to keep spouting the same tired argument over the word "theory" in scientific theory? Once again the definition of scientific theory A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world. By your logic gravity and germs aren't facts because germ theory has the word "theory in it. The title of scientific theory is as high as anything can possibly go in the realm of science, theories don't grow up to be designated as facts no matter how well substantiated they are, but that however has no basis on their validity, gravity, evolution and germ theory would all be facts regardless of wether there were designated as scientific theories or not.
-
A scientific theory is different from a theory. Theory is a synonym for hypothesis, scientific theory is not
-
No it's still a theory or it would be a fact
-
No its a fact
-
No it's a theory
-
Is anything a fact?
-
How can anything be a fact when reality is but an illusion
-
OOOHHH. Come with us as we travel deep into the psyche of a Yarbey. What will we find? Facts, illusions, theories, kittens? Who knows.....

I prefer puppies
