First off. I know getting an accurate coherent response, is probably not going to happen. I don't mind a "rotating meta", nor do I mind nerfs/buffs. Adapting is no big deal. I have no issue with any weapon or archetype of weapon. Are all the cry baby's happy? Probably not, because they probably are not playing anymore. Now they have nothing to say, now they got what they want. Just like every other little change. Like the cbmm & sbmm... You don't see these casuals crying anymore, do you ? We have all these different weapons, 100's, that you Bungie, focus so much on. You made destiny solely about guns. You focus so much on creating & designing these reskinned greens, blues, & purples. Mediocre exotics. etc.. - meanwhile, most are not worth using because you don't have ammo, or they're just NOT competitive. Don't you consider this a waste of time & money? There has been some diversity with primary weapons, but that's because people still have not yet realized, high rof pulse rifles & hand cannon's are still the way to go.. Bungie, let me tell you what's happening, as you are already aware, because it was your patch.. Sidearms are the ONLY secondary you see. They are very effective @ long & short range. You spawn with ammo, every round, why would anyone want to use a different secondary? Try dropping Ward of Dawn without a shotgun, & "defending" your bubble with a primary or sidearm. Not fun. You have removed diversity. What were you trying to accomplish? Who made these decisions? & why? Are you using us for more beta testing? OBVIOUSLY. Bungie CLEARLY wants everyone to use no land / sidearms only. But why? What's the point of using any other secondary? A sidearm can kill just as fast as any primary, probably faster, and you have infinite ammo. What's the difference between this and any other primary? Lose ammo upon death Lose ammo at rounds end Where the -blam!- does the ammo go? Next round, disappears.... You die, while your on the ground, your ammo gets up out of your gun, & just walks away? The kill time in this game is so quick already, (not just primary) meanwhile, you want to hurt our Guardian's, & their tools.. ( weapon abilities and guardian abilities, overshields health regen perks, obviously) What are you trying to accomplish? Is this so you hear less baby's cry? Have $ales been affected? Is this your way of creating content & getting people back on Destiny? Why don't you at least be transparent with us, so we know your intentions, & what is going on. Side info - I can't really stand Destiny anymore. Not even trials, & that was the only thing that kept me playing... I'm going to play a little trials this weekend, just to see how everyone plays. I am going to be camping ammo with my matador, using hand cannon. Well see how it goes... Bungie, if you don't stop, your future is going to be children/fair-weather fans. Sure, you'll make your money, & go down as a has-been fluke, known for loving money more than the game. OR You can focus less on bullshit, stop using your customers to beta test. Focus less on micro transactions, emotes, & the fashion show, & make your game great.. You seriously need to play warframe, gears of war, & dark souls, oh, & play halo 3 , reach, & 4. Those games know how to make fun pvp, & it's fun not only because weapons, but the game modes & activities are creative, different, exciting. (Everything is pretty much run & gun/lottery. It's an fps, I get it...)
