Yeah I had a great feeling of accomplishment when I became the very first human Spectre, in Mass Effect. Talk about feeling like you're a legend. And there was this dramatic moment when it seems your character will die, when I felt a huge swelling in my heart.
Never felt that kind of emotion in Destiny.

So many personal touches, emotional touches that we didn't get in Destiny. Friends, your own ship, later your own residence. Respect from important characters..... Emotional attachments, and universe-altering heroics.

Yes definitely play them in order. The entire trilogy goes in order and advances from 1-3. Each game the stakes get higher, and the plot bigger and darker. Some hate the very ending to 3, some love it. I'll leave that for you to decide. Plus your character and choices carry over to the next game, some having consequences. I've played the me3 multiplayer lately, it's pretty laggy now at times but still fun. So much depth with regards to your character builds. Almost infinite possibilities. If you like rpg style shooters and a great story you'll love those games. Be prepared, they are long. Especially me1. IMO worth it.

You know what was hilarious- there's that point where there's the big decision. And I go, ".....Wait, which way was which????" The biggest decision in the history of mankind, and I wasn't paying close enough attention!!!

Lol I did the same the first playthrough! I ended up just picking by chance and ended up with the renegade ending! Was so mad as I was working on a paragon playthrough. Face Palm and reload.
