Scorpio Reveal Prediction
I think we are going to get a full out reveal for Scorpio in early April. Here is why:
April is 2 months before E3. Microsoft doesn't have any exclusive games coming out before E3 other than the supposed Phantom Dust remaster. Halo Wars 2 is also out next week, and their marketing is currently focused on that.
With the Nintendo Switch launching in early March, March would be too soon for a Scorpio reveal and media would be too cluttered to gain proper exposure on the Scorpio.
An event to reveal the Scorpio and show off a few games and how it runs current Xbox One games would be perfect. It would then leave E3 open to show off brand new games running on the hardware, as well as a price reveal if that doesn't happen on the Scorpio focused event- much like how the original X1 reveal was handled.
They'd also be able to announce Phantom Dust here, seeing as it's confirmed to come out before E3, and maybe one other surprise outside of E3.
All I know is I'm way too hyped for the Scorpio. I can't wait to be able to play games with my friends I play on console with while being able to experience amazing visuals as opposed to bogged down 720p-900p games on my 4K TV.

Well, I have both, but my closest friends all game on Xbox, so that's where I play all my multi platform games. I got my PS4 Pro for exclusives and my PC for oddball games you can't find anywhere else. Scorpio is going to run the games the best once it's released compared to any console, and I absolutely cannot wait!

4 RespuestasNews already broke that Microsoft will reveal Scorpio at E3. They really want to steal Sony's thunder. All we know about Scorpio so far is that Microsoft plans to shove as much power into the console as possible regardless of price. If true, we'll see a $600 monster that can rival gaming PCs. That won't happen. A $600 price would put Scorpio into a niche with few sales and little support. Scorpio owners would be stuck with playing regular Xbox One games only at higher resolutions and framerates. The PS4 Pro already does that at $400. And looking at PS4 Pro sales, we can see that higher end consoles are already a niche at $150 more than their lower end consoles. This leads to one conclusion, Scorpio will be priced at $400-$500 and at that price, Microsoft will have to compromise on the console's capabilities. This is my prediction: Scorpio won't have true 4K gaming in the same way Xbox One doesn't have true 1080p gaming. Resolutions and framerates will be higher, but they will only be better than PS4 Pro and not perfect as we expect. Meanwhile the PS4 Pro will be the less expensive option. The $250 systems will continue to dominate.

42 RespuestasThe Scorpio and ps pro will run games the same way. Only way you'll see a difference is if you have a 4k t.v. which you do. But outside of that the ps pro and Scorpio are 1 and the same.

You know why there are no Xbox exclusives coming in the spring? Because they all met their deadline during the fall. That's the golden time to launch for games. Any game that doesn't is because they had to delay it and they didn't want to wait until the next holiday.
