My thoughts on the the Truth nerf(now the Truth really hurts)

I think the Truth should have 2 rockets not 1. I don't want it to be only good for increased tracking because it's not really important in PvE.
Two shots without reloading in PvE is more convenient for the damage. It's a waste of an Exotic if it's basically a enhanced tracking rocket with one shot. Might as well use a Legendary or Gjallarhorn.[spoiler]All I'm saying is that I love Truth and love it even more because of its new ornament. I'm just sad to see it's damage potential go down.[/spoiler][spoiler]also should've gone 4 rounds with Universal but that's just me[/spoiler]

1 RespuestaWhat concerns me is why change a weapon now released from vanilla that no one used much. On top of that dont give a clear explanation for the change. Makes me wonder what else they have planned. I never liked how they are so vague.

1 RespuestaThe only reason to have a 1 rocket launcher is if has clown cartridge. In one game I had CC proc twice in a row giving me a total of 5 rockets from one heavy box. If it doesn't have CC it's garbage

To give some context here. My alt account has 2 rockets and I think Tracking on a Uncommon rocket launcher. So, therefore, TRUTH IS WORSE THAN AN UNCOMMON WEAPON.

I only have to look at my loadout for the last year in crucible. Literally truth every single game of trials. They want us to use other guns so I'll be trying out other gear. Why not if it doesn't go well equip truth and just take that extra second to pop in cover and reload.

1 RespuestaI agree, I feel dropping it down to 1 is excessive and unnecessary. Its tracking is the best in the game sure, but regular legendary tracking can also have rockets curve all the way around the map and kill someone. And really, Grenades and Horseshoes is what makes any rocket excel in the Crucible, it wasn't just the tracking. Changing it was pointless and just keeps adding to how Bungie keeps making all weapons and abilities less fun to use. Truth has functioned the same way since Day 1 and I have been killed by it countless times in Crucible and not once have I thought, "Man they need to nerf that gun or drop it down to like 1 rocket in the mag". Not. Once.

1 RespuestaI am honestly baffled by the Truth nerf. I could probably handle the 1 shot mag if they made it so there was absolutly no way your target could avoid the shot. But to leave the same but only give 1 round mag. Baffling.

1 RespuestaYeah I agree, 2 is a much better choice or just don't give the extra rocket for having rocket boots in pvp. Gally is essentially the same, but has a magazine size of 2 and no grenades and horseshoes. So I bet most will use that in pvp or a regular legendary rocket with grenades and horseshoes over Truth.

Bungie has been steadily nerfing rocket launchers in general since year 1. Now they killed the best exotic rocket too.

Numbers do not lie. There is a reason it's the most used heavy in pvp. Wish they would just remove heavy from pvp all together
