They are getting nerfed feb 14th

Got your wish, both are neutered. Bungie (as well as nerf herders like you) just doesn't get it. You don't seem to learn from your mistakes. Clever Dragon was GOOD. It wasn't OP. Primaries were just shit, which is why Matador was so powerful. And now it's neutered. And with Bungie's brilliantly engineered special ammo nerf, sidearms are going to be the meta king. The Wormwood probably will be everywhere. Crow's Eye probably will see some usage as well. Let me put it this way: Back in Y1, primaries were king. Special ammo was everywhere, Felwinter's Lie literally could map you, and snipers had aim assist, handling, and ammo economy out the wazoo, as well as having extremely low-zoom scopes. But primaries were powerful and more reliable, so these powerful specials were kept in check. Let's also look at another gun: Skorri's Revenge. This gun was basically a Y1 Clever Dragon. Its damage output was 24 crit, 16 body IIRC, so even more powerful than the "OP" Clever Dragon archetype. You have to imagine it was pretty powerful back then, right? Nope. It was garbage. It was outshone by other, stronger primaries. So what does that tell you when we have a [i]weaker[/i] version of it that people are whining about? Let's also look at NLB because that's a great example as well. This gun is almost unchanged from its OG state (with the exception of the removal of the second ring in the scope) and yet it's magically gone from being the butt-end of every joke in the game to being this "OP" gun that everyone's whining about. Why? Because literally everything that outshone it has been nerfed into the ground. Primaries don't kill quick enough and snipers have been hit with nerfs to just about every advantage they had over NLB. This "circle of nerf" is coming to sidearms. Mark my word. Everybody is going to be rocking Wormwood, NLB will be more popular than it's ever been, and for the first time in Destiny history, the Balance forum will be filled with whining about sidearms. Bungie screwed up hard with this weapon patch. Don't act like your goal is achieved now that the guns you hate are neutered. You'll be back here in a week whining about something else.
