The guy at GameStop told me For Honor is like a mix between Dark Souls and CoD. This seemed like an odd comparison to me. Can anyone comment on that?

It's a very interesting take on a fighting game, with lots of strategy. Feels like an MLG game for the future.

That turd should not be employed at GameStop. Also the Dark Souls comparisons are getting a little out of hand these days. Try the open beta this weekend, see how you like it. I originally had no interest in the game and I didn't follow it at all but after the closed beta I'm now purchasing it.

Dark Souls, yes. Think of it as a more in depth fighting game. The only game that comes remotely close is Chivalry. For Honor is like the original Halo, it made its own genre/place in gaming.

You can't really compare it to anything, the best description I can give is that its a more complex version of Chivalry, and its in third person
