40 RespuestasNo one said it isn't a ban. It's not a muslim ban.

26 RespuestasThe debate isn't on whether it's a ban, it's on whether it's a muslim ban specifically.

8 RespuestasYou act like Trump supporters care about him being a hypocrite... They don't...

Nothing wrong with calling it a ban, I would agree with a travel ban. I think it needs to be extended.
-
I know it's a ban, I'm fine with it

Editado por Papa Prosciutto: 2/9/2017 3:38:17 AMIt's not a Muslim ban, though. People will say that it is banning mostly Muslim people, and I have 2 rebuttals for that. 1. Saudi Arabia was not banned, and has more muslims than the countries that were banned combined. 2. Even if it is a ban on muslims, other religions arent committing terrorist attacks FOR THEIR RELIGION. Y'idiots
-
Of course, it's a ban. Is it a Muslim ban? If so, it's wildly ineffective considering the majority of Muslims are not effected.

1 Respuesta"It's a Muslim ban" that's the lie.

20 RespuestasEditado por LiamCDM: 2/8/2017 8:46:01 PMI would like any supporter of this travel ban here to explain to me how a travel ban from Muslim supermajority nations isn't a blanketed Muslim ban. Let's go over some facts here. Muslim Populations in the Countries Affected in the Travel Ban Iran: 99.7% Sudan: 97% Iraq: 98.9% Syria: 90% Yemen: 99% Libya: 97.1% Somalia: 98.9% According to these statistics, on average, 98-99% of all citizens in the aforementioned 7 countries are of the Muslim faith. President Trump has banned any travel to the U.S. from these countries, meaning virtually everyone who comes to the United States from them, are Muslim. This is by definition, a Muslim ban, and nowhere in the definition of the word "ban" from Merriam-Webster dictates that a ban must be permanent. It can be temporary, as is in this case (90 days). Whether you're for it or against it, you must look at the facts here. This is a ban by definition; not to mention President Trump and Rudy Giuliani, a fervent supporter of the President, have both called it a ban. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_by_country https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ban

Editado por CarneAsadaMilk: 2/8/2017 10:09:45 PMYup, it's a form of sanctions. We have sanctions against Venezuela as well. Did you know that? We have travel and immigration restrictions from a failing 'socialist' state. But nobody cares about South America. Who gives a shit about anything below Mexico, right?

Couldn't find the original video but this one has the whole interview. Okay, sure it's a ban. Ever think maybe there's a good reason?

1 RespuestaYes it's a ban. Everyone loves semantics. Just think of the scrutiny obama would have had if the media picked everything apart for him too. I can see days or weeks of coverage for "if you like your plan you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor." Except this turned out to be a lie, but no media coverage. Trump administration says "ban" but they don't mean ban but it's a ban and they've said ban but they said they didn't say ban....holy -blam!- lol.
-
haha @ how spicer thinks it isn't a ban but trump says it is
