Not that I would propose myself as representative of a PvP 'community,' but I've been enjoying a Mida/sidearm combo a lot recently. Wormwood/Tresspasser is like having a secret weapon in reserve. So much so, I won a control match with only sidearm kills the other day and both of those occurrences are very rare!
Saladbars Vigil, Plan C (when it fires) and Each New Day (have a great roll on it) also pretty useful.

Hey there ya go. That's a fun loadout, just don't flinch my sniper with that haha. I love my Plan C, Each New Day and Panta Rhei

I'm heading for a full 'KJ Hovey' with No Land Beyond/sidearm combo...once I get the 1000 hrs of practice in! :)

Haha yes, I love NLB combos.

Only fusion I even attempt to use is telesto. To be in one shot kill range with a fusion you're almost in shotty range so I typically just slide shotty on people. Or shotty/melee on my warlock. I do love using the trespasser though. That thing is a gem and fun as hell

Yeah, I think in this current meta having Rangefinder and Reactive Reload on a sidearm like Wormwood is a big surprise for people used to charging at you expecting whiffs from an AR before they close the gap and one shot you. Trespasser can kill also pretty far out. My take is if they get the drop on me, I would have been fair game if I had been rocking the same gun anyway. If I get eyes on the rusher in time both sidearms will melt them before they can say 'wtf!'

XD my havoc pigeon screws all those who dare come before me. (When I use it)
