If they do that, then they'll ask for Halo...
And we can't have that, now can we?

I’ll have two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.
Ahhh, Big Smoke as a Spoiler.

The difference is one is an exclusive game( like PS and Uncharted) while the other is multi-platform.
-
Same mechanism though. Sony paid big bucks for an in game incentive for players to play this game on their system. If you pay someone to cut your grass, prune your trees, and fertilize your lawn, your neighbor that only hired the same person to cut their grass shouldn't get the extra services you paid for, should they?
-
Big difference: one is a service the other a digital product for being on a specific console.
-
Couple things: remember that user licence you signed when you first loaded the game? You know, the same one that let's Bungie ban people for lagging PVP and not have to show anyone the evidence? See, that says the game is their property and they allow us to play (as in provide us a servce). They can do whatever they like. We all payed to use the version of the game that Xbox users got. Sony paid more and share the availability of additional content with we PS4 users. You can think it sucks. Vote with your wallet, not crying on forum.

Now you ignore your similarity you attempted to make as an example. That user agreement is called a contract. A contract that only allows for online play, which is why it's there. Also contracts can be signed only by adults(18+), if you look through the forums, well it's hard to see whose an adult and whose a child, but you will feel as though there's mostly children. Meaning the contract becomes null and void. An argument for this game getting a rating of M.

Ok, we're done here. Sorry you don't have access to a couple of guns/maps/strikes. Have a nice day.

*very nice guns, maps, and armour.

The difference is that Sony has nothing to do with the average consumer. All it's doing is cheating the consumer and made my decision as to whether I would buy another Sony product or not. I will not be buying another Sony product as I know they happily cheat people out of their money.
