As of late, I have been playing Crucible to keep my vanguard rank matched on my new hunter. Even now, I only ever see Clever Dragons and Matadors. They don't seem, well, fun. If you're using the same loadout every game, do you find yourself having fun? I personally don't find it fun running the meta every game.
Since I wanted to play a little bit differently, I decided to run Nightstalker with a Thesan, a Monte Carlo, and Spike Grenades paired with Snare. It feels weird at first, but I find myself getting better. I also pair it with a Crest of Alpha Lupi so I can help my teammates with a super train more often. The feeling of a new build is nice, and gives me a new look at the Crucible, especially since I'm playing extremely casually lately.
So, do you guys play the meta all of the time because the weapons are your favorites, or are you doing it to be more effective and to give you that edge? Do you ever use other loadouts aside from your God-Rolled Palindrome or Eyasluna? Another good question, when was the last time you went out into the Crucible with an auto rifle? I know some people use autos almost exclusively, but at this point, I'm just wondering what's going on in the world of our ever so favorite PvP.

I dont even play crucible for fun anymore, my body just needs to do it.

I love Crucible and I use Mida Multi-Tool (scout rifle) and Havoc Pigeon (sidearm).

Gunplay with a good handcannon and headshots with a sniper is fun to me. Super chaining for nonstop guaranteed kills and insta mapping with fusion rifle body shots is not. To each their own.

Mayhem is usually what I like to play, that aside I'll play rumble from time to time. I always stick to my NM loadout and dark drinker, I've got tons of Righteous VII auto rifles sitting in my vault each with a unique roll along with other various NM weapons of various rolls. I'll just head into my vault if I'm bored and try out the different rolls and see how they play and feel, if I like it I'll slap a 400 weapon into it. A good example would be one of my Righteous VII rifles with HCR and Private Eye, I've nicknamed it my "Sniper Touchy".

Winning is fun. Take it how you will

I play PvP for fun, burly.

I used Eyasluna and Longbow exclusively. I switched to No Land Beyond and sidearm and I am loving it. I could just use that forever and not get bored with it. I don't really know if it's considered a meta but it's a blast.

Play Crucible for fun? What heresy is this?!

Editado por Stupid Shinji: 1/31/2017 3:52:08 AMI run the "meta" because they are weapon archetypes I've run since the beta. I've held the same exact kd since I picked up my first high rate of fire pulse/mida almost 3 years ago, as I do today. 123 syzygy I'm lookin at you.

Yup, do mayhem clash with clan mates all the time, we set it up on a huge map and go 6v6 with only supers and primaries. Its always amazingly fun and a good laugh as you just see supers flying everywhere.

I use all the weapons i have. Too bad my vault is always full. My favorite weapons in crucible are are,,, herja D/Ill will/exile student/sleeper simulant.
-
2 RespuestasI got pretty lucky with my rng so i use a variety of things and those things do great in the meta so i have fun and have the edge
-
yes. i enjoy it because im kinda good at it. i can understand why lower-skilled players might not enjoy it though, and don't blame them if they stop playing it or find it boring.

Sorry but I am not quite sure how using a sub class or using a weapon equal fun or not fun. Wouldn't most, if not all players play to have "fun"? Wouldn't increasing your chances of getting kills and not being killed be part of having "fun"? If you do not have "fun" by using the weapons most likely to get a kill then use other weapons.

I swap almost every game... guns.. subclass... armor. It gets boring using the same crap. However, my "meta" is my Righteous VII autorifle, Saladins Vigil, and Truth
-
1 RespuestaThe funny thing is most of them cried because sbmm forced them to use "meta" guns to compete, they switch more to cbmm and it's even worse..
-
3 RespuestasI think it fun if you don't use the meta To mix it up try a legendary scout and sidearm it's fun and you can still compete
