Due to it dropping at 0.6% 3 times a week from nightfall and I can only do it once because my other 2 guardians arnt at current light level, why can I not pick up a year 2 version of icebreaker if I still have my year one version??? I can do it with literally every other exotic gun if it has a year 2 counter part... Please explain?

10 RespuestasShut up, it drops much more often than that, I had to do atheon 40 times for mythoclast to drop in year 1, you can deal with the IceBreaker not being handed to you.

1 RespuestaI agree, if you had Y1 Ice Breaker you should be able to get the Y3 version from the kiosk, like the rest of the exotics. I finally got mine to drop last week after never getting it in Y1. I honestly thought I would never get it. Just gotta keep grinding and it'll drop eventually.

2 RespuestasAs far as I recall there was no year 2 Icebreaker. It was around in year 1 and came back with ROI.

11 RespuestasI got a great idea, keep doing the nightfall. You'll get it eventually.

2 RespuestasNot sure why people complain so much about drop rates. If it drops too quick people complain and if it drops too slow people complain. I'm in the lucky position of having one drop already but in year one I never had a gally drop till 2 weeks before Xur sold it. And year 1 icebrealer never dropped for me when it would have been useful. I only got one when I used a legacy engram during year 2. I think it would have been better to have a story arc to get it, but they wanted it to be RNG so thats what we have. Just enjoy doing the nightfall and see icebreaker as bonus if you get it. If its a grind getting it, then you've probably played too long and need a break from Destiny.

Your post is making hard grinding elitists cry. Taste the salt of their bitter tears as they try desperately to explain why Bungie specifically acted in direct opposition to their stated goals (to never make you look at a loved piece of gear and decide it had become obsolete) time after time after time.

8 RespuestasEditado por Shadow: 1/30/2017 7:21:21 AMI bet when you finally get it, you'll use it for a bit, then switch back to your preferred load out. You just want it, not need it. It's the 444 kills with it that tells me that.

It took me months to get icebreaker in Y1. If you get everything all at once then you will have nothing exciting left to play for.

14 RespuestasEditado por will: 1/30/2017 5:18:21 AMI like it coming from the nightfall sunrise bounty because it gives a difficult piece of loot to grind for. Destiny has become so easy when it comes to exotic rng weapon drops.

Editado por iPatrikolby: 1/30/2017 3:40:49 AMFinally got mine tonight. I popped the sunrise bounty as soon as it completed. I read that works and I was willing to try anything. #icebroken

1 RespuestaJust be thankful this isn't year 1. You'd be lucky to get 2 exotics a week... this week I've landed 10... 10! Ridiculously easy to get loot now... it's sad.
-
3 RespuestasI like that Ice Breaker is tied to the weekly Nightfall strike. Far too much loot is easily obtainable in this game. What I don't like, however, is the fact that it's tied only to the Sunrise bounty. I'd much prefer it if it were available to drop from both.

1 RespuestaIcebreaker isn't a Year2 weapon, it is a Year3 weapon. Plus Bungie needs Guardians grinding for it to improve their spreadsheets. It sucks because Icebreaker was my go to exotic in Year1 and I probably will never get the Y3 version. It's absolutely bullsh!t, but Bungo does what Bungo does and we just have to bend over and take it.
D2's subtitle was going to be 'fractured, but whole' until South Park used it.
4 RespuestasDid all bounties on all characters yet still no icebreaker.
