Still less cooldown than shadestep.
And you are able to blink 2x in a row.
Still less cooldown than shadestep. And you are able to blink 2x in a row.
Blink doesn't stop tracking nades like shadestep. Nerf shadestep

Blink does stop tracking nades if you use it right.

It's also used for traversing the map vertically, which this game makes very important. Having that sort of thing be on an extensively long invisible cooldown is an issue design wise. If they actually communicated the cooldown it wouldn't be as much of a problem but it's bungie and their design is something they don't want to give up on even though it's a problem. Which is to say one of their design goals is quick, easy to understand, and uncluttered HUD, and UI. Shadestep does not climb vertically and so is not as necessary. It's blatantly a bonus mobility option and is correctly treated as less important. Other than that it is incredibly helpful as it makes the player invisible and loses tracking on grenades. Maybe more if I'm ignorant to it. Nevertheless implying that the two should be equals or that it's not fair is pretty disagreeable here.

Blink and / or the primary jump on bladedancer needs extended range by at least 1.5 meters. You can't jump on the lowest ledges without having to expend blink.

Personally I think it just needs to go back to how it was before, but keep the added visibility for those needing help tracking. It was pretty hard to track before, that and no cooldown or at least a visible one. It should never have been punished the way it has been just because of shotguns.

/agree. Y1 blink is love.
