I mainly, if not ALWAYS, play as my Hunter for the majority of my time when I log on. The thing I play is Crucible.
Getting right in to it.
The Shotgun aka: Matador Meta is making it VERY difficult to enjoy being a Hunter as of lately, in my personal opinion. Before Gunslinger Nerf, my favorite counter towards dedicated shotgun users were to stick them directly when they're rushing towards me because I know it could be a Do or Die situation. Whether a Titan rushed me with their Shoulder Charge or Juggernaut, STICK. Or a Warlock with their OP Thunderstike following up after a shot land. I at least had my counter ready.
OR When facing a Titan AND Warlock rocking TWO Fusion Grenades (and it's CRAZY Aim Assist) I at least could challenge them with my non aim assist Tripmine. The Flux would be a good counter but unfortunately that blue poop some how find its way flying OVER my opponents even though I threw 2 feet directly at them 😑.
The Moral to the Story is: BRING THE STICKY TRIPMINE BACK! Gunslinger offense is terrible compared to the other Subclasses. And it didn't help y'all nerf our Throwing Knife. Now, it's just a freaking BUTTER KNIFE. Which I never understood why it got nerf when you actually have to aim it yourself to get that one hit kill. Meanwhile, Storm Grips, Thunderstrike, Energy Drain, & Disingerate can practically one hit kill and gain perks on top of that?! Literally, why do you hate us Gunslinger so much? We suffered, now bring it back. Y'all wanna keep the damage nerf, FINE! Just return the sticky-icky so we can counter these current META at least 😢

Editado por Dano2point0: 2/2/2017 5:25:23 PMHave you tried using Swarm and shooting them before they get in kill range? Or bouncing an Incendiary Grenade in front and shooting them?

8 RespuestasRead through a bunch of the responses. No adequate reasoning behind it not sticking, just a bunch of people who don't want to get unicorned again, which was my favorite thing to do before a completely unwarranted nerf. They should stick. No reason it sticks to everything but a person.
-
It's too bad all stickies didn't have the same aim assist the old sticky trip mines had
-
1 RespuestaI get it's not ment to stick to people but it sure is funny when you see those red lights flashing all over when you stick them. 😂

10 RespuestasUse a different subclass if you want a sticky grenade. The tripmine grenade was never meant to be a sticky, nor does it make sense for it to be one. Use some quick thinking and peg the wall next to your opponent like Titans do with lightning nades.
-
1 RespuestaBump. Another topic is What I don't understand is if a trip mine can damage the thrower why don't lightning grenades do the same to a Titan?
-
They should make an exotic perk so that they stick to guardians and deal extra damage if stuck to a guardian.
-
Why not just make the lightning gernade and the void wall grenade stick to people inevitably killing them over time
-
3 RespuestasSure! Make it sticky, but if it's sticky and you stick me the grenade shouldn't blow up since the trigger mechanisim very obviously has to be on the opposite side of the sticky area.
-
3 RespuestasHell no. If you wanna use a sticky use something else. Jesus
-
It doesn't really bother me either way I was more annoyed with the throwing knife nerf. Now just an idea but if they return the stickiness how about making it so it only kills the one it stuck to and does a lot less damage to others around him that way you can't go getting multi kills like the old days but will still reward an accurate throw. Just an idea.
-
Ill bump to sticky tripmines
-
If they won't return to being sticky, then reduce the red light and make it detonate instantly when tripped instead of a delay and be a 1 hit kill...it's a -blam!-in mine
-
-
Screw the sticky, give me my 10% on my throwing knives...
-
1 RespuestaMake the explosion happen faster so people can't run through them
-
To hell with making it a sticky. Instead it should detonate sooner so that people can't run pass it as easily.
-
It would make sense for it to stick After all armor/cloth is still a surface, how and why would a grenade have the ability to stick to every surface yet not armor or a cloth
-
There was no reason to remove it in the first place. Yes, bring it back.
-
Editado por Shin Malphur: 1/30/2017 4:50:44 PMHunter here, couldn't be happier about sticky tipmines being gone. We don't need that to return, Hunters have plenty of other ways to fight close-range.
-
Editado por SpakulatorX: 1/30/2017 12:35:16 PMIn the least they could bring the damage back up so it can kill enemies when they walk through the trap. Most people see trip mine and just walk right through it now.

1 RespuestaEditado por BomberJC3: 1/29/2017 11:27:38 PMI pretty much Mauna gunslinger as a hunter and either remove the throwing knife nerf or add sticky spikes back.. either one I really don't care.
-
I feel ya dude. Besides skip grenade being op. Meta hunters are pretty much NS. I think wombo is kinda bs too IMHO but it's balancesque.
-
2 RespuestasSticky? No. 1 hit kill? Yes.
